Point is, Steven Moffat is a monster who is better suited to just the position of writer, but makes a poor choice as show runner.

I feel like he suffers from the George Lucas problem. He has good ideas, but he also has a bunch of bad ideas, and without someone to filter out the good from the bad (and help refine the good), he just produces crap.

also, while we're at it, I hated the cybermen episode in Season 7. Those kids were so annoying, and the reasoning for taking them along was so stupid.

I play games on my laptop, and they run at about 30-45 fps, which is bearable for me. But when I try to stream, the frame rate drops to 20 or lower, which is unplayable for me. To be fair, I see Frank's point. And I get the idea about limiting what should or not be accepted on the site. But I have seen too many times this attitude which is directly kicking away the new guy. It's not like this that you get people coming back

None of those work with videogames.

SU got so wrapped up in "this is off-topic" debates, that it became mostly about this

@Frank None of those send input back to the server other than "okay, go back to byte so-and-so" and "okay, thank you, I'm done, connection reset"

so I'm not saying "anything goes". But cut a bit of slack on people, especially new ones.

Yes, we want to teach users how to use what we are offering as a q and a site, but that doesn't mean giving them special dispensation to do whatever.

I could be mistaken, but it sounds like the real issue you have is the huge comment arguments that happen in the questions, @Gnoupi.

The example of the most ghetto setup you could use that piggybacks on regular software is Twitch Plays Pokemon.

In fact, that exact special treatment causes a massive divide between when they stop being a new user, and become a regular user, and there current efforts no longer cut the mustard.
