@Fluttershy There are some mildly critical reviews on Metacritic (from God is a Geek and Kill Screen), but that's about it. Personally, no time to check the game.
I used to play NBA Street v3 (PS2) a lot back a few years. Today I decided to start all over again. I remember playing career mode only with created ballers using my custom team (if I'm not crazy!) but now I can't find a way to do that.
Every time I try to start a career, I can only choose one ...
@Michel I've only played the first hour or so, but I'm looking forward to it when I have more time. My only complaint is that it's a little on the silly side
Like, a talking clamshell that you throw into the sea, and it throws you back a treasure chest with a golden butter knife
I went to Bey Garage and bought many new improvement items, and customised my Bey from the MOD.
Now, when I save it and go over to Story Mode, and resume my play, I cannot change anything or into another Bey.
I'm attaching a picture. It's of the time when I "Equip" my Beyblade. It's exactly wha...
I'm not against general silliness. But I like understanding how the world behaves, and giant talking clamshells that can't get themselves back into the sea, but can throw you massive treasure chests from the sea once they're in there, make it hard for me to follow the reality they're trying to create.
That golden butter knife was my warrior's new weapon, though. That part was awesome.
Combat is fun. Character creation/improvement is fun.
Somewhere between Wolfenstein 3D and Quake III Arena, the default controls changed from the arrow keys to W A S D.
When did that happen and which was the first game to use WASD as its default control scheme?
The "Which MMO had the first player-limited dungeons?" was closed down/deleted pretty damn quickly too. Though to be fair, that's a hard one to answer.
I have noticed some videos on Youtube show the Soldier Customisation screen with more options (e.g different suit/colours/helmet etc)...
Is this a cheat or just an additional DLC pack I don't know about?
> We know they will get behind this game more than any support we have had from them in the past - we believe this will be a step to really forging the Tomb Raider brand as one of the biggest in gaming, with the help, belief and backing of a major partner like Microsoft.
IF THEY JUST PLAYED THE "WITH MORE MONEY WE CAN MAKE A BETTER GAME AND THEY GAVE US MORE MONEY SO NOW WE'RE GOING TO MAKE A GREAT GAME" ANGLE, I CAN GET BEHIND THAT
> C++ is the programming language equivalent of a powerful but touchy sports car that's almost guaranteed to crash and burn in the hands of novice drivers, but can perform beautifully in the hands of an expert. C is that same car with the mirrors, safety belts, and airbags removed.
also selling better on PS3 than 360 seems to indicate their audience either isn't multiplat or strongly prefers PS--360 usually sells better for multi (but Tomb raider is more heavily PS anyway)
@Powerlord No. C is the same car, but from the 60ties, which means it lacks all the great new security features, but is also several orders of magnitude easier to understand.
@MartinSojka It's more like the same car, but C doesn't have traction control, so it's harder to get the power of the engine effectively to the tires, and it doesn't have ABS, so if there's something unexpected on the road, it's harder to avoid.
@Wipqozn I don't mind first party exclusives, and I don't entirely mind third party exclusives funded by a platform (titanfall, sunset overdrive, Grim Fandango remake), but "pay so you don't put it on the other platforms" is such shit

I'd rather devs just make things to a standard, considering we're talking consoles that output to TV over HDMI thus 1080p is basically the ceiling anyway
I was flying through Orgrimmar when I saw this blue dragon, hovering over the city.
Here is a screen shot:
It kind of looks as though it is creating a blue version of The Matrix there..
Why is/was it there, and what is/was it doing?
I wish I could set a specific size range (for instance, 46"-54") instead of the pre-canned selections when searching for a TV on most retailer websites.
