@JasonBerkan I'm someone who needs a lot of sleep and also who doesn't get sleepy after being up 16 hours like a lot of people. A 30 hour day would be ideal for me. Awake 20, sleep 8.
@FAE limbo for 2 hours?
@FAE That doesn't add up to 30
@Yuki If you google you'll find some info on the forum. I was shifting through some files and notice that the save.ini is all in plaintext, so I tracked down a source online that detailed the different settings.
@JasonBerkan In general people don't get enough sleep.
@FAE I aim for 6 hours per night, though I pad that with the odd hour or two on the couch, so I guess I am getting more than I thought.
Also, you're a parent. Parents never sleep. Everyone knows that.

Ugh, 10 hours of sleep in the past 2 days. I am somewhat loopy.
@FAE Probably
@ElfSlice Oh buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
@FAE 20+8=28, not 30.
@Wipqozn My kids actually sleep extremely well.
9pm - 7am ish
All the Steam Community pages are refusing to load for me for some reason though, so I can't say exactly how much at the moment.
That is what the slice of gnome is referring to, and unless I am misunderstanding he is correct.
Which means he wins.
@JasonBerkan How old is the youngest?
17:03
@Wipqozn 11 months.
@JasonBerkan You're quite lucky then sir.
Obviously you're just a fantastic parent who has taught your child the value of a regular sleep schedule before they're old enough to understand anything.
Oh, wiat...fuck.
you weren't correcting him, you were pointing out his mistake.
@Wipqozn Her reason for the mistake was that she is loopy.

Ugh, 10 hours of sleep in the past 2 days. I am somewhat loopy.
I made a mistake because @FAE didn't get enough sleep.
@JasonBerkan Sounds like proper kid sleep time.
Her loopiness is contagious.
17:05
Proper anyone really
FAE
FAE
@ElfSlice Correct.
@GraceNote did you invent ?
I win!
...Not that it's a contest.
@Wipqozn Heh. I'm more lucky than good at parenting.
@Wipqozn No
17:06
My 4 month old sleeps 10-8/9, thankfully.
@ElfSlice No, I think that @JasonBerkan wins for having an 11 month year old who has a regular sleep schedule.
@Wipqozn Told you!
I win again!
That's like winning the lottery.
@Wipqozn I'm 21 years old and I don't have a regular sleep schedule, so maybe you're right.
@Wipqozn To be fair they grow out of it eventually.
17:06
That reminds me, we need to do Fiaco again sometime so that @JasonBerkan can join us!
cc @OrigamiRobot
@ElfSlice It's a common problem.
Lack of sleep is a common problem in general, for a variety of reasons.
I think it's one of the reasons work days are still getting shorter.
I should have gotten Risk of Rain. I didn't expect it to catch on with you guys.
I always pick the wrong games.
srthuhe4jnrsklfd
@ElfSlice It's worth at least three Skydrifts.
@Yuki Improbable.
Skydrift is the shit
Risk of Rain is quite a bit of fun.
I heard mostly good stuff about risk of rain. One of my developer friends on Steam said she really didn't like it though.
Something about how restrictive the movement and aiming is.
FAE
FAE
17:10
@ElfSlice That changes with different classes.
Sweet.
FAE
FAE
@ElfSlice Huntress is super mobile.
@ElfSlice Yeah, aiming sucks (at least for the Commando class), but that's part of the difficulty.
Guess I'll wait for another sale then.
By which point you guys will all be long done with it
FAE
FAE
I hadn't unlocked that yet when I talked to you about it.
17:10
Oh well
It's not a contest
@ElfSlice That's the plan!
I bought some games this sale. I bought Guacamelee which I haven't gotten to yet. UnEpic, which I have, and am really enjoying. Some stuff in bundles I haven't gotten to yet. Oh, and Coniclysm (CC @FAE) which is okay, but nothing too special.
We all said "hey guys, we should all buy this game but wait to talk about it until it's not on sale! Then, when gnome picks it up, we'll stop playing! After that, we'll post Wiphandsomes Epic Villian Laugh video! It'll be perfect!"
FAE
FAE
@ElfSlice Oh? I was wondering how it was.
@FAE Well, it's cheap. It's interesting for a bit, but there's not really a whole lot of explanation about how stuff works.
FAE
FAE
17:12
@ElfSlice Ah, I see.
It's worth the $2 or whatever I paid for it.
FAE
FAE
99 cents for me
worth that much you'd say?
Yeah, I'd say so.
It's $1.24 for me
FAE
FAE
So roughly the same price.
17:13
If you're into abstract shooters, you'll probably get some entertainment out of it
FAE
FAE
Okay cool.
blegh, $7.99 for Risk of Rain.
I already spent like $15 this sale.
Probably
I didn't count
@ElfSlice That'll get you pretty close to another trading card! Wait, they stopped doing that.
@ElfSlice Steam keeps track.
Go to the winter snow globe sale page. You get to a pop up with info there.
Just keep clicking buttons.
There's a snowglobe page?
@Wipqozn Also not all of it was on Steam.
17:15
@JoshPetrie I like your hat.
@ElfSlice Heresy!
I bought an indieroyale bundle, and a humble bundle, and a couple things from a groupees build-a-bundle. (Gentlemen! is awesome)
Speaking of bundles, Bundlestars is still running one that's on par with some of the better Humble Bundles in my opinion
user4704
@Wipqozn My hat is the best.
I wonder if that will help boost the Plain Sight community
I suspect not.
@JoshPetrie It's hatacular.
oops, I cut off the platforms
Well, they all have Steam

17:21
@Yuki Can still get cards, I just did.
I'm gonna sell the rest of mine.
Unless anybody wants them
wait, what? Colorado legalized the selling of marijuana?
I...wow.
I wasn't expecting to see america legalize anything like that within the foreseeable future.
Last Steam deals should start in about half an hour..
> You have spent approximately $6.72 USD in the store since the sale began.
I was expecting Canada to do it long before the USA. Even if it is only one state.
17:23
I don't think they are even the first state to do so.
Oh, right, Guacamelee came from the Humble Store
Definitely gonna stop buying stuff now.
I have lots of games.
@JasonBerkan Based on a video article I show on it I think they are.
Washington Initiative 502 (I-502) "on marijuana reform" was an initiative to the Washington State Legislature, which appeared on the November 2012 general ballot, passing by a margin of approximately 56 to 44 percent. Originally submitted to the Washington Secretary of State during the summer of 2011, enough signatures were collected and submitted by December to meet the required 241,153 signatures, sending it to the legislature. When the legislature adjourned without action in April, Initiative 502 automatically advanced to the November 2012 general ballot. It was approved by popular vo...
Ah - I guess it depends on definitions, as usual.
17:25
@JasonBerkan Oh my.
I suppose you get a lot different of an image of the USA from the outside.
FAE
FAE
@ElfSlice That's on the humble store isn't it?
@FAE I dunno, is it? Must be a new addition if it is.
FAE
FAE
@ElfSlice It was during the sale at some point. I meant to pick it up but forgot.
@FAE It's currently on dailyroyale.com/?royale=74 for $1.75
I was under the impression that the USA still has a huge hate for weed, and that people caught with it faced serious jail time.

17:27
@ElfSlice I meant to get the Tale of Tales experiments/prototypes bundle but forgot. :(
Hm.
The 'buy' button appears to be broken.
Silly.
Maybe it hasn't started yet.
Oh, it has. The button is just broken.
@FAE If you want it, I guess you need to manually enter the store url. secure.dailyroyale.com/cart?royale=74
The legal history of cannabis in the United States relates to the regulation of marijuana use for medical or recreational purposes in the United States. Regulations and restrictions on the sale of Cannabis sativa as a drug began as early as 1619. Increased restrictions and labeling of cannabis as a poison began in many states from 1906 onward, and outright prohibitions began in the 1920s. By the mid-1930s Cannabis was regulated as a drug in every state, including 35 states that adopted the Uniform State Narcotic Drug Act. In the 1970s, many places in the United States started to abolish ...
It comes with a Desura key too, if you use that.
FAE
FAE
I should wait for now
Greetings, all.
17:29
@Wipqozn Depends on the state. Opinions are starting to change.
> Gonzales v. Raich 545 U.S. 1 (2005) was a decision in which the U.S. Supreme Court ruled (6-3) that even where persons are cultivating, possessing, or distributing medical cannabis in accordance with state-approved medical cannabis programs, such persons are violating federal marijuana laws and can therefore be prosecuted by federal authorities\
I think I'll pass too
Stuff like that is just ridiculous. It's legal to do X, but we're just going to charge you anyways and say you're realy doing Y.
Honestly, I think the big reason the US has a problematic history with marijuana is because of the tobacco industry.
Steam CDN, why are you so unbelievably slow?
FAE
FAE
17:30
@Wipqozn That's the whole problem with State vs. Federal laws
I don't care either way.
@yuki That is definitely a part of it.
It's also on sale on their site @FAE, and it includes the Android version as well. luxuria-superbia.com
FAE
FAE
@ElfSlice Oh cool
@FAE Yeah, state vs. federal jurisdiction has always been a... touchy issue in the US.
17:30
No Desura key though.
@FAE Yeah, I really dislike the structure of the american legal system.
The fact that there can be such a huge difference in laws between states just seems silly.
They brought it to OUYA

@Wipqozn City, County, State, Federal...
@Wipqozn Hmm. That's the part I admire most about the Americans.
17:32
@JasonBerkan Really?
I suddenly have the urge to take a philosophy course so that when I'm assigned an essay on existentialism, I can try just turning in a blank paper.

It's governance by the people. And, each region chooses it's own form of government. Not always for the best, but, it works reasonably well.
@Wipqozn Yes. Give each local area the ability to create laws that match the local people. Even Canada's too big to have one central authority. Both your province and mine have had issues with the federal government's Ontario / Quebec centric choices.
user15026
@Ullallulloo 29 SB for looking up a monkey bread recipe :D
@JasonBerkan I agree with provinces/states having the ability to make their own local laws and taxes, but the degree to which the USA seems to do it just seems far too extreme.
17:34
@AshleyNunn :o
user15026
@Ullallulloo I know, right? :P
Ghostbusters: The Game?
In fact, if more power could be driven down to the municipal level, I would be even happier. (Because I can easily meet and discuss things with my mayor. I can't easily get in contact with my premier, and forget contacting the prime minister.)
@JasonBerkan Harper is too busy looking at pictures of himself to answer your phone calls.
Plus, my vote means so much more at a municipal level.
17:36
@Wipqozn Isn't everybody?
@RedRiderX I know I am.
@JasonBerkan Yeah, makes sense.
FAE
FAE
@ElfSlice I bought Legend of Me, btw.
@ElfSlice You haven't bought Risk of Rain yet, have you?
@ElfSlice that actually looks like quite a bit of fun.
Because it's only $6.66 at the Humble a Store. That's a little cheaper than $7.99!
17:56
@OrigamiRobot :(
Why would you say such a terrible thing about me? :(
I told you guys, I was out:
3 hours ago, by FEichinger
(Actually just leaving to pick up my new PC ... maybe)
sigh - I just got an Airmiles Travel alert due to a storm in the US. My tickets are for Easter...
@JasonBerkan Their weather prediction is that good.
I am home!
I had forgotten how big chat is on a monitor.
I'll update the fire list as soon as I'm done setting up the new PC.
@Frank -1 for not opening with "Good morning, Bridge".
17:58
@FEichinger I only ever say terrible things about people.

Q: Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, desert palace door

livingtechSo I'm completing the desert palace, have the boss key, as well as one more small key. I'm in the long vertical narrow room to the left of the room with the boss key, but the door to the left is not open. It has one of those mask/faces on it. I have been all over the dungeon, and this appears to...

@FEichinger Yay new PC! Hope your assembly goes well.
Also, @kalina, it has always been a manually maintained list.
@FAE No assembly. Laptop. Don't have the time for a tower these days.
@Frank I look forward to "Good morning, Bridge" every day. It not being the first thing you say every day just crushes all my motivation for the rest of the day.
