He wiped my party on turn 20. Got him to about half health in the first 8 turns, but then he brought out the healers. killed one of his healers, but just wasn't putting enough damage out to keep up with him, and when he counters it can ok my guys, particularly if the previous turn was his AOE

I killed him in less than 10 turns I think.

Between my ronin and alchemist I deal lot of damage.

Plus I have Warrior Song on my Bard.

@GraceNote he should be doable, but its rough. Healer heals him for about 180 a round. My medic is tied up healing. Protector is usually doing buffs. That only leaves 3 guys to damage, and they're only doing about 350 total, on rounds where they're all actually alive

I think I have one mission to go, before hunting him becomes an option.

It helps that I determined his counter is every 5 turns. That will avoid some deaths.

@OrigamiRobot EO makes you work for your potions, and consuming them takes valuable time away by using up an action.

@OrigamiRobot It depends a lot on how much impact these buffs have and how the game was designed to accomodate them.

I'm not sure BioWare understands that properly. The Witcher was a game that did this pretty well, but I'm not sure it fits to Bioware well.

@Sterno Pretty sure you have to work for potions in Terraria, though granted there's probably farm setups that can be done there that can't be done in EO.

I just feel, when fighting bosses, that I want to solve the "puzzle" of beating them without aid from consumables.

Bums. Well to AWS's credit, recovering from a server going awol was only a 10 minute job.

However, since I dislike grinding, respeccing isn't really an option, and that would be the way to do it.

Q: Skyrim: Big Problem

I have got big problem with my Skyrim. I have got quest to interrupt the Skooma trade (quest from Riften) and I already cleared the cave before accepting quest, now when I went inside to interrupt trade, they all were dead and I can't complete quest. Do anybody please know solution??

Eclipse, I just set up a parent POM file for you to read in all these projects that sets the compiler level to 1.6. And then reimported the projects since a simple Maven Update didn't fix the "errors" you're displaying (and still showed the version as 1.5)

If you don't read the compiler level this time, I think it's time for shotgun to convince you.

@Unionhawk In retrospect, I probably would've done to have a better example than Gradius vs. Parodius/Otomedius. They certainly represent exactly the kind of implicit relationship to which they actually have a meaningful comparison, except I can't fathom a single reason why anyone would ask about the differences between them.

One argument for this specific case would be that Terraria is rather often described as 2D Minecraft, so I can see why it could be useful even though I'm not sure the whole category of questions makes sense

@MadScientist It's often described as such, which still gives zero context on what the differences could be. And it's quite misleading.

@MadScientist I think that such a description is too abstract and meaningless to a great fault. And I've not even played either of them.

I compare these two all the time when I'm describing one to someone who is familiar with the other.

@fbueckert The comparison is misleading, and that is why there is some value in correcting it. But I don't really want to defend that type of question too much, I'm not convinced that it makes sense here

I don't really like version-differences either but at least that provides a structure for concrete comparisons.
