@Wipqozn you probably already knew this, but I just found out you can stair jump to entirely different dungeon levels. I'd been doing it the hard way and jumping to the current level's stairs, going down, jumping to the next stairway, etc
@TimStone Close. I was directing traffic. The problem was the text which a cardboard cutout could hold would communicate the information I was required to impart to the drivers more effectively than my vague gesturing

I still don't like the stair jump ability. Well, I like it, but I don't think it was integrated very well. It completely nullifies the need for the skill that teleports you back to town. Or the need for Ariadne Threads. And it makes that spring on level 8 pretty uber
My brother brought up an interesting point that the taxonomic changes to enemies only occur in 3 and 4, with 1 and 2 actually sharing names for the most part. So it's like the actual naming is actually based on the region of the labyrinth and its continuity.
