Q: What are the new crafting stations and what do they allow?

The release of Terraria 1.2 includes a few new crafting stations for us to use. However, I have no idea how to use the first one I've acquired. What are the new stations, and what can I make with them?

You can only gather a certain amount of times per day, based on your skill level. So in the first two games it was 1 per level, so for example if you had someone with Take 5, you could Take from spots 5 times at any day.

@murgatroid99 Who knows? Do we know that they never held the mark previously? Maybe they hired a new lawyer who did a review of the current IP holdings. Maybe someone noticed the resent upswing in rumors on the internet and figured getting ducks in a row might be worth doing. It's such a low cost/low effort thing to do there could be hundreds of reasons. Sure, one of them could be HL3 is in development. But it's just one reason out of hundreds, and, more to the point, even if it is the reason...

the information is so meaningless from a standpoint of learning anything about how far along the game is or when it might come out as to be functionally useless as 'news'.

I mean, it's not like Valve has categorically denied that there will ever be a Half Life 3 or something, where even the thought of it represents some kind of massive tectonic shift.

They've simply been totally silent on the matter. Which means next to nothing about whether it's one of the many projects in their pipeline.

Basically, the fact that someday, Valve might come out with Half Life 3, and considers the idea serious enough to care about the IP isn't news, because it's already assumed truth and has been for years because they've done nothing to contradict it.

I played for like 2 hours singleplayer and got to 180HP, found an umbrella, 2 items for SMB wall jumps (they stack even!) and got a blood moon :D

The right one threw a facemonster and two corruption monsters at me.

I still had no tools or anything made, so running was the only option.

I have no iron in that world though, or not found it anyway.

Only lead, copper and silver for now.

Q: Are their any reviews of this game mentioning the two weapon hypocrisy?

I have seen only positive reviews for this game but am searching for a site that may have called it (and other reviewers) out on the two weapon hypocrisy. Many reviews I read of Duke Nukem Forever commented on the antiquated notion of only carrying two weapons, yet no one mentioned this drawback...

It would make BI easier if you could carry three guns. Two makes you pick and choose for the best gun for the situation. Carbine and Repeater, typically, and a third such as a shotgun or rocket launcher...too easy.

@5pike Unwieldy, yes. Realistically you can do it and people regularly do. It still doesn't have anything to do with the game. Especially given that it's not ArmA and the character isn't actually carrying the weapons on him (for some of them, it would be simply physically impossible).

You have around 5 mags. Let's say you only have 5 bullets left in a mag, and you reload.

The mag with the 5 bullets is still in your inventory.

So, if you don't pay attention, you can reload your gun with this magazine
