I loved my 3D class - it was the only class I had that felt like a real university class. Impossibly long mathematical problems during class, create a 2 minute movie for the first half of the lab, and a fully functional piece of animation software for the second half of the lab.
@RonanForman Yeah. Also I used way too many textures.
The animation would have been better if I was able to rig the robot
I even specifically asked my professor in the first class if there was a certain way we should design them to make them easier to rig and he said 'do it however you want, it will be fine'.
Second class comes around 'oh you can't rig that you have to animate it by hand I guess'
Is there a way to ask a question that compounds on an existing question, other than just linking to it? Like, for instance, if someone had already asked a question concerning the base damage rates of several weapons in a game, and I wanted to ask how to calculate their actual damage rates against...
Regarding these kalina's (useful) questions and answers about Payday 2:
How can I pull off a Bank Heist without the cops getting involved?
How can I complete the Diamond Heist without setting off any alarms?
How do I stealth the 'Framing Frame' heist?

Is there a tag that we can use for games which we don't already have tags for? While we do have an extensive library of tags, there is no way we have a tag for every single game available on steam, in other countries (not America, I mean), for arcade, for mobiles, for consoles and handhelds and P...
@TimStone well, there are certain things that I'm sure could have been worked out, but I'm just happy that the other Tim spent as much time as he did fixing me
Commercial Hummers are considered by a lot of people to be a symbol of the height of American excess. Originally military vehicles, privately-owned Hummers are a sign of people with a lot of money and willingness to spend it willy-nilly (Hummers have a notoriously horrible gas mileage. 8 mph, iirc).
@MichaelDunfield Oh hey it actually rotates. I hate when people do that and just repeat a single cycle (so the blue tile is always on the right magically)
I'll post it when I get back home. Which is in two hours, maybe.
Dear god, what is happening to me? I'm tempted to get GTA V just so I can answer those questions and get more rep. I'm being motivated to get a game not because I'm actually interested in it,but so I can get more fake Internet points!
I was wondering if there is a way that I can reset the game so that I can start from the beginning? I was thinking about deleting the local content and restarting but am slightly worried that if this is sync'd to steam cloud that it will just reload everything like it is at the moment
I'm making a small server for me and my friends, on a Raspberry Pi. All the guides I have seen so far use Spigot, but there isn't that much documentation that I can find on what they did to make it more lightweight.
What features are lacking? Or did they just make it handle the RAM more efficien...
@MichaelDunfield well, instead of having to hold it in my hand, I can set it to any amount of time between exposures and set as many exposures as I want
After completing a certain mission with Franklin where he pays 50 $ to someone my balance is negative. Receiving payments from selling stocks and completing taxi missions is not added to the balance so it's stuck. This is an issue known and listed at the Rockstar's support site. Was someone able ...

I'm looking to upgrade to a gaming mouse.
Searching Amazon for a Linux gaming mouse isn't getting very many results. So I'm asking here for recommendations. I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 64bit Gnome Fallback Session for now.
My preferences are for:
* Wireless.
* PS2 or USB receiver.
