target sells beer and wine, but they can't sell it less than an hour before they close, which seems like a weird cut off for a store and not a bar

We found out late one saturday (as in early one sunday) that there's a cutoff for sunday sales in Ohio

Usually there are point of sale level controls depending on the store's license here

Walmart will completely disallow the sale of wine on Sundays for example

You literally cannot scan restricted items unless maybe a manager key overrides it

prices can be overridden too

so, you can pay for it with a credit card, but there's no real record on what was sold
