@Sterno The gameplay is exactly what I wanted it to be, but I got a little bit carried away with trying to gold medal every level and burned myself out.
There are some new modes added recently, so I'll probably pick it back up soon-ish.
The UI is even more cluttered than the first one, too (14 prep stations instead of 8 max, plus 8 holding stations), so even if it is on Android it might be one of those tablet only things.
@Wipqozn Okay. Combat is better but similar so I was going to say if you didn't like that one you probably wouldn't like this
Story wise and choices and all that I really dig it
And I've always been okay with the combat
It's one of the rare RPGs where I actually make choices in the game because I feel like I'm playing a character instead of doing whatever I think will give me closest to 100% completion
I do remember reading on how the way the game is built so that you can kill every single NPC and do whatever you want without making the main quest impossible was born from how they designed it for co-op, so that each player had the freedom to do whatever they wanted
The player gets +80% HP & +30% boost to Chances to Hit. NPCs get -50% HP & -25% penalty to Chances to Hit. Regular creatures don't have any crowd control spells (Charm, Mute, Freeze, Petrify etc.): only bosses have them. Can switch up to Classic Mode
I was interested when I heard building bases and fighting off zombies, and then disinterested when I realized that it's all transient and you have to start over from scratch next play session.
I'm refinancing my mortgage right now. I paid the bill on my old mortgage due on Nov 1 already. We close next week on the new one, and the next bill is due Jan 1. I "skip" the normal payment that would be due in December. Similar happened with rent/new mortgage when I moved into the house in the first place.
So if it's brand new you may just have not gotten the first bill yet?
@Ash It was because I made a mistake while filing and they double-counted a bunch of income, I refiled and I owed $130 instead, which was a huge relief.
@Sterno I spent a week home with my wife and the kids and it was almost a relief to go back to work, but before I did that I thought it was going to be relaxing.
@StrixVaria I know that feel. My wife works lots of weekends, 12 hour shifts, so some weekends it's just me and the kids both days, and I look forward to Monday usually
In Star Wars Battlefront 2, Star Cards power-up your character on the field:
I was wondering, can you use two Star Cards with the same name at the same time, and stack their abilities?
I mean, software devs are people who do most of their work on the hardware stated, so they might be more knowledgeable about them than the average person
however, dicaprio mostly appears in movies. He doesn't do his work on the hardware stated, even though he appears in it.
I think the analogy is more that software developers create code, which can be executed on computers, and Dicaprio creates movies, which can be played on TVs. Each has a job that is associated in some way with that hardware, but in both cases there is not a reasonable expectation that having that job requires or involves expertise in that hardware.
Like sure, maybe there's a 1% chance that a random person could fix your hardware issue, and a 10% chance that a random software dev could do the same, but it's still not their area of expertise, and not their job
@Avery the question is about games in general, with the specific game being supplied as an extra if it helps with the answer. Are you answering how to get the particular game working or how to install steam?

In update 1.23, the one released alongside Cradle of Civilization, advisors were given personal religions and cultures and the ability to be upgraded. It seems like I can almost never upgrade an advisor though. I've seen it a few times, but right now I can't upgrade any of them.

I have read that with the new "Better Together Update" (BTU) it is now possible to create a world on one platform and then continue playing it on a different platform. However, I am having trouble finding details of how this is supposed to work to determine if it would do what I am hoping it wou...
I've just started playing Star Wars Battlefront II, and there are a lot of differences between this game and the 2015 game, especially the melee. In Star Wars Battlefront 2015 the melee did 50 damage and was very slow. In the sequel the melees are much quicker and seem to do much less damage. I w...
