Q: how do dvd discs activate to spin ?ps3 missing sensor

When the tray door closes it depresses this button, like a little latch thing that activates thing to spin. the sensor? all the slamming that my daughter and I have done has broken off that little Piece. now I can't get it to spin.. is there A way to make it spin without replacing the little pie...

@Yuuki I worked with a guy a long time ago who did something similar. In the winter, he had it setup to vent outside air into the computer so that he could overclock it without worrying about heat.
