The remakes streamline a lot of things, add jokes, some game systems. Really enjoying Rebirth 2 even though I already played mk2 before

only bad part about 1 relative to the others is it has a couple of awkward difficulty spikes, and the "optional" dungeons are basically required unless you want to grind

the battle system isn't the highlight, but it's perfectly serviceable in Rebirth

They've...done an okay job but they're not quite as good as NISA yet in terms of limited editions, communication and such

But the scripts are pretty good, they occasionally wreck re-recorded voice acting for some reason

it doesn't seem to bother most people but Noire and Blanc sound different in rebirth 1, for the worse IMO

also Cave and Pirachu in Rebirth 2. Not a huge deal just kinda makes me wish they were still with NISA

@StrixVaria It puts any% in this weird "requires perfect RNG" state that I think will make people less willing to run it at a point.

It's already sub-20, shaving off about 4 minutes with good RNG is huge, but it's not as broken as when they found out how to warp from deku tree to ganon

I think what it does in the short term is make a mediocre run a WR, which is going to be really interesting for a few weeks, but then it'll go back to an awful grind.

Plus shaving 4 minutes off an 18-minute time is the equivalent of shaving like 10 minutes off a 40-minute time. It's an insane improvement.

Maybe it's not on the level of the initial discovery of wrong warp, but it's still exciting.

Still seems perfectly runnable.

Plus who knows if they'll come up with a setup for that.

I've played through Dark Souls 2 two times, got about half-way through with a third character, and am currently on a new playthrough with MISTER FISTS
