I have a lot of savegames in Dragon Age 2 on my PS3. Because the HDD was just 80gb and new ones are pretty cheap, I just bought a new one. I changed the HDD and am able to run Dragon Age 2 just fine. The problem is, I am now unable to load any of my older saves. I copied them using the PS3 Save ...

Hard Reset or Serious Sam 3, maybe, but they're not brilliant. Just decent to good. Killing Floor is fun for co-op, but fairly limited in scope. Red Orchestra is great, but it's milsim.

It's a much more hardcore and realistic thing. It's still a game, far from ARMA level, but it's much more about tactics, taking the right position and covering your teammates than the more classic twitch gameplay.

It's multiplayer-only, though. Should still be reasonably active, but I haven't checked in a while, so there's that.

@RPiAwesomeness It takes some time to learn, especially coming from more traditional shooters. Stuff like suppression, and cover, and concealment, and smoke use, and not getting in the machine gunner's sector... but I think it's a decent entry point.

Of course, part of that is because Valve has two Beta maps currently distributed with the game... rd_asteroid and pl_cactuscanyon. In my experience, they don't do binary updates on maps, so it has to download compressed versions of the entire map.

I'm curious as to when they plan on adding the airlock doors to the front of the bases and implement the lower gravity outside. Assets in the game (and them breaking areas of lower gravity in custom maps) imply that these are coming.

Well, with things like models, materials, and sounds... Valve never removes them. They just add more VPK files to a set.

I'm glad they adopted the way they do that, though... it was so dumb before having to redownload entire GCF files because one file in it changed.

Q: Does changing a mission's difficulty affect engram drop rate?

Basically does increasing the level difficulty and adding modifiers to a mission increase the volume of engram drops OR the quality of drops? I know higher difficulties will spawn more enemies, so there are more kills and therefore more chances for drops, but is that the only benefit?

@FAE They're rather similar but the Gardening ones are, well, Gardening based games, and the mini games aren't as fun, the game doesn't flow as well, and I don't like all the weird extra bits, like growing stuff for animals who own shops, because the flow of that stuff doesn't work as well as I want - it feels like a weird afterthought to add extra stuff
