Combat is mostly the same old thing, but skills that have charge up time (for both enemies and friendlies) have indicators where they're going to hit.

The one thing I hated about my time with FFXIV was the combat system. All of your abilities are on a global cooldown. So if you use 1 ability, you have to wait for it, and all your other abilities, to cool down.

Not all abilities are on the GCD.

For instance, I have some that ignore it entirely.

They have their own cooldowns, though.

I like it's aggro system, though; you can see how close you are to peeling your current target off the tank.

@Frank most ppl say making a hybrid is ideal... Since at rank 10, you have enough points to deck your chocobirdy with ranks 3, 6, and 7 of your choice without wasting any points
