...

@agent86 I should have known.
@Ktash that's why I've been trying my best to keep out of it, despite the fact that I was one of the closers. Kyralessa has had confrontational attitude from the start, so I figured engaging him would result in some problems.
In fact, I've made a poit to just not address him at all.
Also, what we need right now is @OrigamiRobot friendship song.

Dear self - caramel is the lava of the candy world. It hurts. Love me.

FAE
@AshleyNunn Typo, m'dear.

@AshleyNunn Caramel is lava? I love caramel. =(

user15026
10:29 PM
@FAE hahahaha that was a good one

user15026
I blame the burned fingers

@OrigamiRobot That's better.

user15026
@Fluttershy Freshly made, it is hotter than hell

user15026
I am now whipping it into submission to make it tastier and less lava-y

FAE
@AshleyNunn I'd kiss them better!
Wait.
Eh, screw it, I'll leave it there. >_>

user15026
10:31 PM
@FAE giggles I appreciate the comfort, m'dear.

@Wipqozn I live to serve.

FAE
@AshleyNunn \o/
@AshleyNunn I'm eating ice cream right now, so my mouth is cold, it would be perfect!

@OrigamiRobot Really...?
sudo @OrigamiRobot Make me a sandwich.

Excellent.

user15026
10:32 PM
But hey, this time I didn't kill my pots making caramel, and it should shortly be yummy caramel frosting stuff for a cake.

@FAE <____< Oh my.

user15026
@FAE Indeed it would. Much happiness there would be for my poor stupid fingers.

FAE
@AshleyNunn The metal from my piercing would be soothingly cold!

@FAE ... interesting

user15026
10:37 PM
@FAE This just keeps getting better and better!

Q: Do PS2 emulators support joypads with varying button sensitivity

Maurycy ZarzyckiI basically have two questions in here: The PS2 joy-pads had variable button sensitivity. For example, in MGS3, slightly holding the square was used for aiming, and pressing it all the way to the end meant shoot. Are there any USB joy-pads for PC which have this feature? How is it called so I c...

Can a mod just lock this question until the meta has a resolution please
we don't need to be going back and forth closing and reopening it

@Ktash That sounds like a good idea.

FAE
@AshleyNunn Seriously though, cold water and if needed, an ice pack!

user15026
@FAE I have a baggie of icecubes in a towel around my fingers

FAE
10:41 PM
@AshleyNunn Woo!

@Ktash I'd rather not, as voting to close or reopen allows the wider community to express their opinion (plus folks only get one close and reopen vote per question, so this won't keep going indefinitely :))

TIL the origin of the word "Bakers Dozen"
A dozen (common abbreviated doz or dz) is a grouping of twelve. The dozen may be one of the earliest primitive groupings, perhaps because there are approximately a dozen cycles of the moon or months in a cycle of the sun or year. Twelve is convenient because its multiples and divisors are convenient: 12 = 2 × 2 × 3, 3 × 4 = 2 × 6, 60 = 12 × 5, 360 = 12 × 30. The use of twelve as a base number, known as the duodecimal system (also as dozenal), probably originated in Mesopotamia (see also sexagesimal). This could come from counting on one fingers by touching the digits with one's thumb. ...

10:55 PM
@AnnaLear Alright. Just seems more constructive to me to have the discussion (and voting) on meta rather than going back and forth on the close reopen for the question a couple more times until people run out of votes

@Ktash I saw your comment pointing to the meta discussion. Good call there.

I have now bought much snackage and assorted foodstuffs.

FAE
@fbueckert Yay!

@AnnaLear Yeah, wanted to direct people there so they could say why they were closing/opening and we could have a discussion on it rather than passive aggressively playing teeter-totter

@FAE Including two cases of chocolate bars. ><

FAE
10:57 PM
@fbueckert ...wow. That's uh, a lot. Baking?

@FAE Nah. Stocking up. I run out of snack stuff very quickly (because I'm lazy), so this time, I bought enough to keep me going for awhile.

FAE
@fbueckert Oh, haha, gotcha.

@FAE Forgot salsa, though. So I'm gonna have to get some, sometime soon.

@fbueckert If not now, when?

@Fluttershy Well, I just got back, before I realized I forgot to get some.
So I'd have to leave, again, just for salsa.

10:59 PM
@fbueckert I'm not seeing the issue here....

@Fluttershy Time spent to run out and buy one thing is more than I'm willing to use.

Software-rec?
Oh, AND shopping rec.
Does the second question stand on it's own, though? I'm leaning towards no.

@fbueckert I just left a comment

@Ktash Yeah, I saw that.

I think the second one stands on it's own so long as it is "Are there emulators with button sensitivity support?"

I agree about question 1, but not about question 2; there's no problem being solved.
Emulation itself is on-topic, yes.

11:03 PM
@fbueckert Why is there no problem? The problem is that some games require that support
They even list an example

@Ktash Because there's been no attempt to try it on his own.

@Ktash That would be cataloging then, wouldn't it?

Sort of the same reason we closed all those, "Will it run on Windows 8?" questions.

@Fluttershy This I'm split on. It might be catalog, but I do think there is a problem
@fbueckert That would make it a bad question, but not necessarily off-topic :)

I've had enough drama for one day. Imma leave it alone for now.

FAE
11:05 PM
They just edited the first part.

@RavenDreamer ^

Answered it in comments, I'll leave closing it up to others
I'm not opposed to closing it, because it is really a list question, but I'll leave it up to others
Anyway, gonna go clean out my computer, for which it should not be on. Later all

11:22 PM
@FAE oh, wow, always online for a mouse? That is pretty bad

FAE
@BenBrocka Yep.

I hope their customers tore into them for that

2 hours ago, by Tim Stone
@FAE "Sign up for our cloud-based service so you can get the unlock code to the shipping band around your mousepad off"
This doesn't parse
Always-online... mousepad?

@FAE YOU WOULDN'T DOWNLOAD A MOUSE

FAE
@badp He was being a little facetious. But Razer mice are essentially online-only, if you want to use macros.

11:27 PM
@badp I forgot a word or two, but some mousepads come rolled up and the joke was that you had to sign up for their cloud service to get the code to unlock the fastener around it.

If Microsoft is really dumb enough to always-online block the use of online games they'd probably consider DRM to block the resale of mousepads
Grey market mousepads kill billions of jobs in the US alone each second

Who uses mousepads anyway?

I do
The surface of my desk isn't regular and it throws my mouse off.

It's true. Second-hand mousepads contain lots of germs which can cause employs to get sick, and sick employees cause the economy to suffer leading to fewer jobs. It's a Fact™.

Get a better desk.

11:31 PM
My desk is made of glass. I'd very much like to replace it, but it's hard to find a suitable one.

@OrigamiRobot

FAE
I don't want to wear through the finish on my desk.
Jochem's dad made it for me.

@TimStone Instead, install a "backlight" for it.

@badp Not red. I don't have to obey.

@OrigamiRobot It's okay, the one who needs to obey is me (and the homeowners).

11:32 PM
oh boo the meta-tag syntax doesn't matter in chat

I don't... I don't understand what's going on here.

Me neither. Close it as Confuses badp.
Bioshock Infinite isn't even released yet.

It has nothing to do with Bioshock Infinite other than you have to have a pre-order for Bioshock Infinite to play it.
> Industrial Revolution is not offered for sale as a standalone game, it is not part of BioShock Infinite, and we currently have no plans for its content to be used elsewhere.

> What consequences can mr choices have?
Ah, caching, how you amuse me.

I love when free Not an Answer flags fall in my inbox

Q: What are the minimum skills for material research for all BPOs?

Kort PlecoWhat are the minimum skills required to be able to research material efficiency for every BPO in the game? I know metallurgy affects the speed, but some BPOs, to my surprise when I discovered it, like rig BPOs require that you have the appropriate rigging skill also. For example, to research mat...

@Fluttershy you tease! I thought you were answering my question :(

@RavenDreamer What question? About Dominion queue times? I don't play dominion. Or games against real people.
And now, I'm off! Later all!

@Fluttershy You ask what I'm referring to, and then refer to what I'm referring to! Double confoundatiosn!
