I would like to build a garage which is under the ground. Like this:
However, I am not able to connect the ground (on the right) with the rooftop of the garage (left). Is this possible and if so, how can I do it?
Ideally, I would like to paint the rooftop of the garage with grass, but I would...
But if the objection is "You've got the answer in here, plus extra crap" that seems like downvote territory to me, and whether or not it appears elsewhere seems irrelevant.
@Sterno Because no attempt at all has been made to actually answer the question. It might do so in passing, but is buried in the wall of text in his attempt to paste his guide far and wide.
But I don't think we need to be all freaked out about answers with 5 downvotes existing and destroying the quality of the site because they weren't deleted.
Almost everything in the answer to this question is just entirely wrong (and yet it still doesn't seem to be downvoted fast enough, as it was still at +1 before I came along):

The answer isn't out of date, or an untested guess, it is simply wrong.
...
@fbueckert If that's really the case, SE should just make a feature that auto-deletes everything with a specific negative score or worse after a given time period.
I'm pointing out that that downvotes have multiple purposes; an indicator of quality, and hopefully an incentive for the poster to conform to site standards.
If neither of those purposes are reliable to get quality content from a user, I see no reason not to burn it out of existence, after a reasonable amount of time has been given to give them a chance.
Damn, should I build the trade buildings or the military buildings? I can only have one type per provicne, and I mine as well just stick with one per trade zone.
We have a voting system for deletion. That's how I figure it goes. If an answer is low voted and folk don't like seeing it, then it goes away. If it's only one or two vocal users, it sticks around even if negative.
Those trade buildings would help counter portugals trade domination, but those military bonuses would make my armry much, much larger. That would be quite nice if I wish to eventually take over France, or least some of it.
> Deleting answers When should I vote to delete an answer? You may vote to delete answers in the following cases:
The answer is extremely low quality: There is little to no scope for improvement The answer doesn't answer the question; it may be a comment or a separate question altogether. The answer is not much more than a link to another page. Link only answers are not allowed on Stack Exchange
I'm assuming the argument is that this falls under "extremely low quality"
@GnomeSlice Here's where I say again, this is around the point that I seriously ask, why is this even being brought up in here? Like, what remote vestige of relevance is it?
@GnomeSlice There is someone in The Bridge who likes to flag things that will get people banned when there is no context around it. This person seems to particularly like doing it to you.
@GnomeSlice The first one will get you banned if somebody decides to flag it - I know it's not your intention, I know you don't mean it like that - the second one is how you should have bought the subject up
@GnomeSlice We're a group of gamers with various shared and unshared interests. But there are some things that we may speak of elsewhere that we have no reason to bring up here.
@GnomeSlice For what it's worth, everyone does it, not just you. We discuss all sorts of stuff in here that we probably would be best not to. You just seem to get flagged more, and often are more likely to unintentionally start conversations in a way that are less politically correct
room topic changed to The Bridge: General gaming chat room, wherein everything is fireproof and LAZERS are the new fire. [-fire] [-fun] [history-repeats] [jin-fanclub] [lazers] [-ponies] [-videogames]
@GnomeSlice Essentially you start by getting paid to do something, but then get told that if you get 10 other people to do what you were doing instead you get more money. So eventually everyone is working for one person, hence the pyramid.
That said, charging into a room to just blurt out something that you know is solely offensive, that you know people in the room will comprehend the item as offensive, and while they may know that you're not posting it to be offensive, the fact remains that it's just not the kind of thing one does.
So, if you get ten people selling licenses, then you make your money back from the one you bought, but then they have to sell it to ten more people each to make their money back.
@GnomeSlice When you post something here, you should expect that people are going to discuss it. There's been a few times where you've posted something and then a discussion follows which just winds up getting you upset/angry. It might be a good idea when you post things in the future to ask yourself "Do I really want to get into a discussion over this?"
Basically, there's two things to consider - relevance and appropriateness. If something strikes out on both accounts then there's really no reason to post it. For the large part, anything that strikes out on the latter shouldn't be posted anyway. Especially topics that are defined by their appropriateness.
