When laying out the board tiles Civilization V has an uncanny knack of placing the luxury resources exactly five tiles apart.
Should I drop one city in the exact middle between them and grow it to work both, or create two cities - one for each luxury?
In Civ 4, it was easy to figure out how close to build cities to maximize my territory, because they number of tiles they could use were very limited. In Civ 5, cities can use many more tiles (more than they'll need until they're huge), so I'm wondering how close I should build my cities. Is bu...
The best part of the stream is listening to the engineer give those tidbits of computer history and watch the look on everybody else's face as they clearly don't give a fuck and want the exposition to end as fast as possible.
...and then he starts a whole new aside to go on for five more minutes.
@badp I was really into checking it out at one point and it looks pretty good. The gameplay videos I've seen look decent too. Still haven't played it though.
Let me just be clear: I don't have a problem with games with all-attractive female characters, but TERA just doesn't do it right. Far too exaggerated proportions and bits hanging out
Is there a question on the main site about moving some Steam games to a different library location? I want to move some downloaded but lesser-played games from my SSD to my 500GB spinning disk drive. I've created a new library and I can download new games to it, but can't seem to find a way to move the ones I currently have.
Some of the games show up as undownloaded, but if you pick the library where they are now, it finds the existing files when it tries to download, so you should keep your data
@BenBrocka I copied my entire library to my new PC a while ago, and all I had to do was 'download' the games and it would find the files. Some of them had to re-download some stuff, but not all of it.
@GnomeSlice Based on past events, you have trouble putting things in blue or yellow without having them overlap into red. Therefore, simply avoid them altogether.

@OrigamiRobot So why not just make a diagram consisting of just the red circle, and include the other shit in it. If I'm not able to separate them, the Venn is pointless.
@OrigamiRobot If the point of your thing is 'don't curse or women because those will probably get YOU banned', then why isn't it just one circle of cursing women and getting banned
@GnomeSlice The point is, if you randomly pick a location in the blue circle, then there is a chance it will get you banned. Since you personally don't know where the line is, then posting something in the blue circle is like rolling the dice on getting banned. If you don't post anything in the blue circle at all, however, then you can avoid getting banned.
I would like to move some of my lesser-played (but still downloaded) Steam Games from my SSD to my larger, secondary 500GB "data" hard disk in my machine. I have set up a new library location through Steam > Settings > Downloads + Cloud tab > Steam Library Folders > Add Library Folder and created...
@tombull89 Copy the data from one library location to the other, then tell Steam to uninstall the game. Then choose to reinstall it to the other library
Also note that Valve games don't let you switch library locations, they can only be run from the "main" library.
