I have a problem with a game (Anomaly warzone). When I launch I get the following error: GLX_EXT_swap_control not supported, unable to set vertical sync. Someone is able to solve this problem? My system: Ubuntu 11.10 64bit intel i3 intel integrated graphics with driver mesa Thanks in advance.

@agent86 I tried out the Onlive demo when they first had it. I had two takeaways from that:

1) FTL is awesome.

2) I hate Onlive.

@Fluttershy yeah, this game kind of makes me think of a cross between GTA and assassin's creed, which sounds pretty epic on paper. I think that's a PC demo, although console versions are also planned.

and that's where the problems begin

@fbueckert I tried to do the onlive demo, but their client choked on my macbook's right click emulation, so I didn't actually get anywhere, and then I forgot to try on my PC before it ended.

I ran out of fuel in like sector 5 or 6 once, waited for something to happen, and a ship shows up to attack me that has shields I can not penetrate! UGH

There's a lot of luck involved in getting better weaponry.

@fbueckert I found staffing to be the biggest issue.

@James it reminds me a bit of strange adventures in infinite space, although way deeper.

@James I ran into ships with 3/4 shields that took me forever to kill.

I lost a person really early on once and the game was Very hard, constantly shifting people from location to location

They didn't have enough firepower to penetrate my shields, and I would have to land every hit of mine to do even one damage.

@James Yeah, the default Steam setting is windowed; I didn't mind, as I like my games windowed. It pauses if it loses focus, though.

@James I had enough scrap, but the best I found was a defense drone and a self-repair drone.

Every store I went to didn't have an attack drone.

@fbueckert Oh I liked the repair drones :)

And a defense drone sucks when you need to get to the ship with a shield.

@James Yeah; all the later ships I ran into had 3 or 4 shields and a defense drone.

One of them had TWO defense drones.

So that made doing actual hull damage...interesting.

It's always fun to wade into the middle of a pack of enemies, slaughter them all, and then talk to someone. They pay no attention to the fact that you're covered in blood and gore.

Once I gained friendship with one of my companions, can it be lost? If my approval rate with one companion is at 100, can it be lowered if I do actions that are disapproved by the character? Conversely, if my approval rate is -100, can I redeem myself or is it too late for that?

I've played a lot of Protoss in the original StarCraft, but I thought I might try to play it in StarCraft 2 also. What build orders are being used competitively?

Q: What are the popular openings / builds for Terran in StarCraft 2?

I don't have too much interest in playing Terran, but I'd like this information mostly to better understand what I'm up against.

So, we need to do something about those three questions.

They only exist because of Tzenes being awesome, and there existence just makes closing other, similarly flawed questions harder to close due to there existence.

It's simple. We ban the Tzenes.

Q: What is a solid build order for use in ZvZ?

I seem to be having more and more trouble in the Zerg vs Zerg matchup. I can't find a reliable, good, build order/ opening. What is an effective build order or build opening that I can use to safely progress in ZvZ?

@agent86 I have previously been accused of not being a nerd. Apparently, my non-nerd activities are having a much stronger influence on me.

And incidentally, that's exactly why I want to go outside. It's such a gorgeous day.
