I researched a Processing Plant to make Fancy Food, and a type of Processed Item that uses Fancy Food (Chocolate Cakes) but I can't set the Processing Plant to actually make the Chocolate Cakes.
What am I missing? How do I make Fancy Food?
The Assault (Marksman) and Stealth (Sniper) classes both use long range rifles that look the same. Are there any differences that make one weapon better than the other or are fire-rate, damage, zoom, accuracy and recoil all the same? Aside from the class's starting health and class ability is the...
Some pretty big spoilers for Monkey Island 2 lie ahead.
Possibly this can all by explained by the onset of Guybrush's hallucinations being gradual, but the explanation offered in Curse of Monkey Island is not entirely consistent.
Have any of the people involved with the creation of Monkey Is...
"There are two things that are infinite in this world - Human Stupidity, and the amount of Zubats in a dark cave" - pick a famous person to credit it to :P
@RonanForman Yeah, one of my best friends here is German and when I told her my dad's side was part German, she was like "Why do Americans always tell me this?"
@ArdaXi eh. For example, there's been a lot of migration from Italy to the US in the 30s-40s from Italy for more-or-less obvious reasons. The opposite? Not so much.
There has never really been immigration here, just emigration. Except during the Celtic Tiger. I guess we'll have to wait three generations to see if their great-grandkids describe themselves as "1/8 Polish" and stuff, or if it's just an American thing to do that :P
Which is a lot down to how they teach it. "You're going to learn it, and you're going to like it, because it's your heritage! Now shut up and learn off some poetry!"
@RonanForman "America, F**k Yeah": Played throughout various parts of the film, along with the "America, F*** Yeah (Bummer Remix)", intended to mock the stereotypical American's jingoist form of patriotism.
In short, if you felt I was trying to be offense to non-Americans, it's actually probably the opposite. :P
@LessPop_MoreFizz Yeah my bad on that.. I do apologize. I have no idea but the two things I thought you had put forth were done by @Sterno (Completion Time) and @StrixVaria (Trivia tags).. Yeah no idea why I had it in my head they were from you.
commented: @JohntheGreen it's somewhat polite to allow others to come up with an answer rather than having a pre-made one you post 31 seconds after asking.
Depending on my current sniping location, I usually want to place my T-UGS for max detecting efficiency. Usually on metro I will place it below Objective B (if contested) to help the team out, but on other maps where I might be alone with no backup, placing the T-UGS can be more crucial for surv...
@James I'm not proposing we ban Completion Time stuff either... I just really hate the way they all boil down to the same thing and attract really bad answers
I also don't think any actual action is coming out of that Meta post :P
I think we can allow game completion time question if we hold them to a certain quality standard, ie. no anecdotal figures, but rather something that cites (multiple) reliable sources such as @Wipqozn's answer to the Skyward Sword one
and the question, especially for open world games like Fallout, needs to be limited to say, only the main questline, to avoid silly answers like "the game will take 10 to 100 hours to complete, depending on how many side quest you choose to do"
This thread contains the completion times for various people, in response to someone asking the same question you did. The hours for completion ranged from 40-65. The total completion varies - some are for 100%, some for much less.
Another thread asking the same question had an average complet...
@Macha I don't know much about Gimp. but in Photoshop you can set image interpolation mode to "Nearest Neighbor" so it preserves hard edges and doesn't introduce anti-aliasing. good for resizing pixel arts.
BEcause I think my answer is as good as answers to those questions can get, and even then I end with...
> As you can see, on average it takes people anywhere from 40-60 hours for their first play through; although some people completed it in half that time, and others over double. In other words, it depends on a combination of your skill level and how much exploration you do.
@Jin Already done that. The problem is the left border became two pixels with the second going into the shape, while the right border extends into the whitespace, so it becomes unsymmetrical where it had previously been symmetrical
A bank holiday is a public holiday in the United Kingdom or a colloquialism for public holiday in Ireland. There is no automatic right to time off on these days, although the majority of the population is granted time off work or extra pay for working on these days, depending on their contract. The first official bank holidays were the four days named in the Bank Holidays Act 1871, but today the term is colloquially (albeit incorrectly) used for public holidays which are not officially bank holidays, for example Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Prior to 1834, the Bank of England ob...
If I equipped both electric boost(1.2x) and electric amp(1.5x) on a character, how do those passives combine? Which of the following is it?
Multiplicative: 1.2*1.5 = 1.8x damage
Additive: 1.2+1.5 = 2.7x damage
Highest wins: 1.5x damage
First equipped wins: 1.2x damage
@RonanForman I was about to comment, "why'd anybody do anything about something as uninspired as the green lantern." Then I decided I should know better than that, given that all I know about that is it's just a generic superhero with "green" as his theme, and you can't really get more bland than that.
"PHEAR MY SUPERPOWERS! I CAN TRAVEL THOROUGH NEW YORK EAST TO WEST IN 20 MINUTES AND NOT CATCH A SINGLE RED LIGHT! HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!"
What do you think of Leona as a ap mid or maybe a jungler? Do you think she is viable not as a support considering right runes, her cc with decent magic damage, and right masteries?
Depending on my current sniping location, I usually want to place my T-UGS for max detecting efficiency. Usually on metro I will place it below Objective B (if contested) to help the team out, but on other maps where I might be alone with no backup, placing the T-UGS can be more crucial for surv...
It seems like this gadget is able to sense enemy locations periodically even through walls (which makes it much more useful than I originally thought). How far out does it detect?
Also, the description in-game says one can avoid detection by moving slowly. What are the parameters for this? crou...
@Wipqozn I'm not sure how to accomplish that. In the current metagame the only role she can reasonably fill is support. I might could re-word the question so it isn't an "what do you guys think"
@Rapida Yeah, I was hoping someone could remove the "what do you think" aspect. It looks like there is good question in there, I'm just not familiar enough with LoL to find / fix it.
It appears that the stronghold locations have moved. I had found a strong hold at one point in a creative world that my little kids like to play in. I found it in 1.0 or 1.1. I didn't write down the coordinates.
Since that time, we're running 1.2.4 and we are using an eye of ender to try an...
I've been searching for hours in the game to find a Stronghold and haven't seen one. Apparently lots of mobs and treasures can be found there, but the question is where can we find those?
Can we find them near a ravine or abandoned tunnels?
I have. That's the only question. He details a problem of not being able to find the stronghold, and the endereyes bringing him to the wrong location. He is looking for a way to find the stronghold, whic is covered by the duplicate question.
It could probably be re-worded to be asking how to fix the ender eyes, but that's not what it is currently asking. Feel free to re-word it though.
@GnomeSlice I concur that seems to be his problem, but it looks like what he is looking for is how to track down the fortress. Take a look at this comment:
> Yeah, the main problem you'll have is the fact that most of the mapping programs out there are outdated – Unionhawk Mar 31 at 23:12
| So, when we get to new areas, we find vestiges of a stronghold, all of which end abruptly at the "old explored area" vs. the "newly generated area" boundary.
His question is more along the lines of: I have a world generated partly in 1.1 and 1.2. The stronghold does not extend into the 1.2 part of the map. Is my map screwed? With the answer being Yes :)
The fact we're debating what he is asking is evidence enough that the question needs to be rewritten for clarity.
Oh, @GnomeSlice, I've posted this in here before but.. have you seen this? You strike me as a Sonic fan, so I think you'll want to keep your eye on that.
