@Tristan it was not a very good game, imho. my son liked watching it though, so it kept him entertained. I guess I could recommend it if you have kids who like watching balls roll downhill.
@agent86 I'd say try Railworks 2012 (I think that's the name), but... You have to buy the game, and then buy the trains. I think the final total after purchasing all of them is ~$1500...
@Tristan yeah, this is a huuuge "no" for me. Although I'd probably feel the same way about that as I do about Forza DLC. Appealing to someone, but that someone is not me. I have no clue what the differences are between cars or trains.
in general my opinion of cars is a) does it get me from point a to point b reliably and comfortably? and b) does it smell bad? if the answers are "yes" and "no" then we're done, I'll take it.

Yeah, I dunno. I've never fully got it. I'm all for having proper tests to verify functionality where there's either a high cost to, or reasonable likelihood of, something going wrong, but the way TDD does things just seems silly to me.
