Subjectively, from your perspective, it makes no difference.

Eyes and Ears interpret the world around you, whereas a simulation creates it.

The brain interprets the signals.

The brain would interpret the signals the same whether it's a simulation or reality.

I think it all comes down to hats. If you're just a simulation, then clearly you only need a digital hat. If, however, you are a brain in a tank or similar, then you need both a physical hat (on your brain) and a digital hat (in your perceived reality)

We're all just one big game of the sims. Just hope the one controlling you doesn't figure out carpets are flammable. I know what happened when I figured that one out...

Mathematically speaking, there's actually a pretty big chance we're in a simulation right now.

Thinking further the speed of light might for example be a rate-limit created to ensure the simulation won't outrun the host computer.

So there's actually a chance of 1 in x+1 where x is the amount of simulations ever ran that we are in the real world and not actually a simulation.

I visited the master universe once. It's not as nice as they want you to think. They have a weird idea about what "green" is.

@GnomeSlice Remember when I said most items in TF2 have downsides? Some have downsides that hardly matter... The Equalizer is one of those (its downsides are that you can't call for Medic when it's equipped, and it does less damage than the Shovel at full health)

Scientific theories are proven wrong all the time. They are corrected, or abolished.
