A "pre-release" just means, "here, have all our code updates so far".

regular folks are probably way too scared to use -pre's

and even I prefer a bit of stability in my Minecraft

and not have 4,000 chunk borders in my maps

and travel LOOOOONG ways to find the new stuff.

besides, one of the bugs still around is "the boss fight sucks", that won't be fixed in -pre5 most likely

That video is way too soft for me to hear on my laptop.

Oh, well.

Until proven otherwise, I will continue to picture GraceNote as a 300-lb., 5' 4" man sporting an awesome beard and an incredible belly laugh.

Basically, it uses pistons to glitch some water, then when the block updates it fixes the water, and activates redstone with a boat, it also uses that signal to power the piston to re-glitch the water.
