So ... lineage-2 Europe will go to Innova (they already have the licence for the Russian version), and thus will very likely be F2P. And NCSoft West is dragging their feet with announcing what they are going to do about the remaining "old" US and EU servers. This is pissing me off; I like the community we built on the Naia server, but as it is, their non-action is splitting it. :(
@badp I'm playing ArmA 2. That's the game where you can easily run for over an hour of real time (and several klicks of terrain) through mud, bushes and ruins without seeing any enemy soldier, only to be killed by a sniper you never saw. And I love it.

Though the best missions are those without a time limit, just a bunch of objectives to fulfil. Some of which you will fail if you take too much time, but that's no problem, you don't have to be at 100% to complete the mission. Consequently ... longest mission I played took over 6 hours. Real time and in-game time, they are the same.

@badp You can make the AI drive. They are better at it than flying, and in any case crashing into something with an APC is way less fatal then doing the same with a chopper. :)
