@Lilienthal That should be possible. It doesn't need to be "fixed" IMHO, since it is consistent with the SE philosophy of tying privilege to reputation and assuming that people will use their privilege responsibly.
Proposed Q&A site for people seeking recommendations for books to read given a stated interest in previously read books, authors, topics, themes, moods, settings, characters, and/or other specific criteria.
Currently in definition.
This is one of the dumbest proposals I've seen in a while.
And it seems like the people there profoundly misunderstand the SE framework.
The help center tells us the dupehammer works with the original tags of the question:
A question can be closed as duplicate with a single vote from a moderator or a user who has earned a gold tag badge in one of that question's original tags.
That, however, is no longer the case:

@Lilienthal it's just annoying. we had that, so it wasn't a problem, but it sure was annoying - and reflects on SAP's business model of "screw the customers" :P
Yeah, I knew someone who was an ABAP developer, and begged his boss to be transferred to other team. The pay was good, but he was so stressed that he accepted a significant pay cut.
So last week, I went to an interview. The interview went well and I liked the company. However, it would require a 65 mile drive a day.
I was aware of this before the interview, but decided to go just to check it out and to learn more about the job. During the interview, I learned that the job i...
I have recently been promoted to manage a small team I worked in before. My problem is, one of my coworkers.
The co-worker (Jane) is a person I really do not like. We’ve had several loud clashes. Most of my coworkers don't like Jane very much, but they don't work close to her everyday, so they ...
But I actually went through every single comment. There were several good ones seeking clarity, which the op resolved, making them obsolete comments, or comments answering the question, which we try to discourage since the answers section is where all the Google search juice will come from.
This is also good to note that this is a shining example of where the close, edit, reopen cycle works really well to take some raw, unfinished material and turn it into a sculpted masterpiece.
Huh. I forgot I actually answered that. I was reading the first phrases and thought "phew, that's pretty harsh". Then I noticed the aggressive bolding and a mention of Allison Green and realised it must be one of mine. ;)
@Lilienthal And that's okay. A lot of times these tools are meant to help things get closer to the mark even if we can't 100% get there. If it's still way off target, you folks will step in as a group.
lol
Yeh I come across my Stack Overflow answers every now and then and am surprised to see my name at the bottom of the list.
The "signature culture" at my company is dangerously close to ridiculous, and this question made me ask about it here.
We're an "MS Gold Ultra Colour Plus(tm)(c)(fm)(wtf) Partner" which is apparently an important marketing point, and a bunch of my colleagues have a wide array of certifications a...
My first instinct when I read this question was to check if there was a way to read emails from a specific group of users to plaintext format. I looked around for a bit, and not surprisingly, it didn't take long to find out that other people have faced this problem before.
This answer on superu...
Hmm, I wonder if the CTO visits SE. That question will probably make it to HNQ soon. If CTO sees it, the problem may get solved! It doesn't look like OP redacted the oh-so-awesome certification images.
Although that would likely lead to a new question here tomorrow. ;-)
In my custom fantasy world, raising the dead is really simple. Before the Great Act of Beautiful Death raising a body and keeping it alive(undead?) for at least a week was a part of exams before being admitted to any University of Magic worth its wands. Body does not have any intelligence or free...
OP creates a wall of text in poor English describing a dozen different constraints, none of which make sense, then asks the site why his world is nonsensical? ...
You said it yourself, 1000 zombies = 12 knights. They had >12 knights, no more zombies. — user162959 hours ago
This guy resolved the entire thing in the first comment and it still got 10 answers.
I'm one of five shareholders in our company (all shares are split evenly between us). When we decide to pay out dividends, instead of doing a payout directly proportional to our shares in the company (i.e. everyone gets the same amount), we would like to determine the percentages for each shareho...
A load of inexeperienced people with zero management experiencing throwing out wacky and incredibly illegal ideas while being "in full agreement" that they should do something without know what, how or why.
