I would note they were undone by overzealous users deciding that they wanted to close half of the questions people came there to get answers for because they were basically opinion based...

This is basically a poll right now which doesn't really fit this site well. Asking everyone what their thoughts are is more appropriate for a forum, not a Q/A site - if you want to focus on a specific question this is likely to be reopened but as it currently stands its not a good fit for a Q/A site. — enderland 7 secs ago

@enderland It isn't clear what the person wants their boss to do -- that's the primary issue to me. I believe I voted as 'unclear what you're asking' because to explain how to do something, you have to know what the goal of the activity is.
Ever since I pulled back on aggressively editing questions, the close rate seems to have skyrocketed.
