This sounds ominous! It seems our beloved moderators have found lart -Bk from the BOFH toolkit...
(Thankfully, they don’t seem to know the -p option.)

@StephenKitt Just keep your head down, puny mortal, and everything will be OK.

@terdon hey we’re not defenseless, we have bosskill!

> bash: bosskill: command not found
:P

What matters isn’t whether you have the command available to you, but whether I do ... (Ominous background music welling up.)

Ah but it isn't installed on the system I am running on.

I always wonder about a year-to-year comparison chart for these numbers, then I never do. Looks like we had fewer problematic users this past year ... or we missed some.

Some have cooled down as well without being banned outright.

I'm happy footnote 2 exists; I was really confused how Community was suspending users
Cooler heads prevailing?!? /o\ ... \o/

One of my net connections isn't connecting to chat.stackexchange.com. Not sure how to debug this, or even if it is worth trying. Thoughts?
The one I'm currently one seems fine.
Usually these things sort themselves out without my doing anything. And I have little to no effect on the outcome. Hence multiple net connections.

@JeffSchaller hot heads getting 1-year bans? :P
@FaheemMitha probably not news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29918052 but maybe

@AndrasDeak News to me. Not sure what to do about it. Fiddling with browsers is a bit too much.

> Firefox has witnessed outages and we are sorry for that. We believe it's fixed and a restart of Firefox should restore normal behaviour. We will provide more information shortly

@AndrasDeak Huh?

This browser thing seems like a real problem. But I don't have the energy to deal with it on top of everything else.
Distributions are supposed to deal with that sort of stuff. That's why we use them.

5:48 PM
I suggest going on strike ;)

@AndrasDeak Funny.

thank you

DNS over HTTP?!? What, they saw SSH doing it and wanted to get in on the action? Is HTTP over avian carriers next?!?

I remember a DNS over HTTPS checkbox with SOCKS

6:06 PM
Pepperidge Farms remembers when a service's port number meant something!

Do you need your tapioca now, Jeff?

Almost! Only 2 left in the fridge. But there's still some chocolate pudding left.

7:04 PM

sometimes I get tapioca, sometimes I get rice pudding ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't think we have tapioca here... like, at all
I just checked an online grocery store, and they only have things like tapioca-based rice noodles and tapioca flour, but not...whatever that is

tapioca is legit, I haven't had it in years but now I want some

7:11 PM
it's either a really small container or you have enormous thumbs

you forgot option #3 -- poor photography

low budget means few pixels for the container

My /home FS just broke again... last time was in April
