@Zizouz212 It's a very odd question. As a user who is so knowledgable about FLOSS you must know the question is a clear no. So why are you asking it? If you think you've found some loophole in a license or in the freedoms, then ask something specific about that.

9:14 AM
@Zizouz212 Because you're one of the highest rep users you have the appearance of an expert. Now there's no problem with not knowing about something, and many sites have high rep beginners (who get their rep by asking lots of great questions that they really didn't know the answer to.) But I guess that image takes time to develop, and you have more of an expert image right now.
So when you ask fairly basic questions like this it can appear as if you're maybe trying to use the Socratic method: asking questions to teach, or to develop an argument
I just would never have guessed that you weren't sure of what a EULA was before asking the question! Which, again, is not something to be ashamed of. In such cases it may be better to just be upfront that you're not sure what it is.
I still think the question is bad. "What's the difference between a FLOSS license and a EULA?" would be okay. Adding the "when forking a project?" qualifier confuses the question. What does forking have to do with the question? That's not clear.
Hope this is some helpful advice.
@Zizouz212 And as I said in the comments, sorry, but I just can't conceive how this would be a valid answer to the question. It's about functional dependences between programmes, not organisational uses.
Now I'd appreciate feedback on this: meta.opensource.stackexchange.com/a/458/190
@bmargulies seems to be suggesting that we allow form answers to any question legally related, which does not seem like a constructive use of the SE Q&A format

9:58 AM
@curiousdannii you there?

10:09 AM
Anyway, I think your interpretation of @bmargulies in meta.opensource.stackexchange.com/a/458/190 is wrong. My interpretation is that he says the we should welcome answers that say that this question deals with a really tangled subject, and that no conclusive answer exists. But it should not be a form answer, but an answer helping the OP understand the complexities involved.

10:26 AM
@curiousdannii Thanks for the thoughts. I wasn't entirely sure how to word it, and I had a feeling it was unclear. I don't think I'll make an edit right away, but I'm hoping to seriously revise it once I arrive back in Oslo (I'm getting on a plane within a few hours)

@Zizouz212 Why did you ask about Aviary being propritary? (It is pretty obvious that it is).

Oh, I actually haven't heard of it

It is a well know Adobe product for photo editing - I thought that you worked on an image editor?

Oh, I'm developing one myself (it kinda sucks, but I'm making it better). Generally, I've been used to apps such as Capture One and stuff
I'm 15, so I don't really have money to buy programs... :/
And isn't a well known adobe program like photoshop?
Regardless, I don't believe in post-processing anyway, so I don't really edit my pictures too much

Aviary is not really targeted towards end users. You can sign up as (closed source) developer and then have a profit-sharing arrangement with Adobe. Photoshop is for end users, not developers.

10:33 AM
@FreeRadical I don't know, he seems to be suggesting form answers to me because he thinks nothing can be said unless it's tested in court

@Zizouz212 - another thing that has puzzled me: You're asking a lot of questions, and they get upvoted answers, but you almost never accept any answer (except your self-answers that just reproduce some FAQ). Are all those other answers not useful to you?
@curiousdannii Well, he's not done so yet. I am not going to try to stop him from submitting form answers - if that is what he thinks would be best. I don't see what the problem would be if that is indeed what he suggests (but as I said: I do not think soo).
After all, anybody can submit whatever answer they like. He says clearly he is not suggesting that non-form answers to very difficult questions should be closed.

I tend to be a little bit more picky when selecting an answer, generally I expect something in simple and appropriate terms so that everyone can understand, but I do admit that I haven't been the best (I've kind of forgot a few of my questions with answers that I had actually meant to accept)
@curiousdannii Regardless, it's a tricky question.

10:55 AM
@Zizouz212 I believe that the recommended practice is to accept an answer after a reasonable time has passed or say upfront why you're unable to accept any of the answers (i.e. you say none of the answers are useful to you). Asking and walking away from the question is behavior normally associated with inexperienced users - not someone running for role as mod.
Also, if you're serious about wanting to be a mod, you should put a bit work into both your questions and your answers. The "EULA" questions was particularly bad, but you've posted a string of speculative questions about how you may restrict your user's freedoms. The answer is always the same: If it is open source, you can't. I have a problem understanding the motivation behind those.

@FreeRadical I don't think form answers actually qualify as valid answers. I'm sure MSE has discussed them before, so if I start seeing them then I'll go look for prior discussions
@FreeRadical That's too strong. I accept answers if I think they're high quality and are unlikely to ever be topped. If an answer is merely adequately informative I won't select it as accepted no matter how long the question has been there

@curiousdannii Well, AFAIK, this is not yet a problem. If it happens, why don't just downvote them? That's how SE sites usually deal with these things unless it starts resembling spam.

@FreeRadical Actually, a lot of those questions were real-life situations.

@Zizouz212 I don't think it matters whether it is "real-life" or not. But by all means: You decide when and what to accept. But IMHO, this is not the standard behaviour from experienced users on SE sites, but YMMV. If I am pressed for time (I am holiday now), I tend to skip questions from people I've identified as "ask and walk away" members, in particular if the question requires me to spend time to do research or look things up.

I'm actually looking through a few of my questions right now, and deciding what to accept.
Sorry for the confusion, normally I do accept the answers that help me.
I think a lot of this was priming the site, so the focus was adding the content, which is why I kind of forgot which questions to get.
Also, I would note that there were a few upvoted answers on a few of my questions that sort of contradicted themselves, so I don't know what to accept. I am in no means an expert here, so I wouldn't exactly always know which one is the best.
Also, my biggest criteria to accept an answer is to see if I can really understand it without trying to dig up things, which is something that I've found with many answers on the site so far.

11:15 AM
@Zizouz212 "I accept answers if I think they're high quality and are unlikely to ever be topped. " If a new and better answer appears, you can accept that anytime. " my biggest criteria to accept an answer is to see if I can really understand it without trying to dig up things". That's a perfectly valid reason for not to accept, but then you should say so - not just walk away.

That's a perfectly fair argument. However, what about upvoted answers which are contradictory?
@FreeRadical Also, I wouldn't say that I've posted a string of "speculative" questions, I think they were valid questions and I was really trying to see if I could do what I wanted with my project.

@Zizouz212 There are plenty of massively upvoted answers on this sites with nobody contradicting them that are just flat out wrong. Those few where the upvoted answers which are contradictory are just a small subset where somebody cared enough to contradict. You should never assume that the stuff you find on a site like this is the right answer.

If the purpose of accepting is to signal that this is the best answer from the part of the OP, then what is the purpose of accepting?

You should only ask questions that can be answered, and where you'reshall be able to judge - based on your own, specific use case, whether the answer is helpful or not. If this is not the case, then the question is too speculative and you should not have posted it in the first place.

Then in that case, if I should be able to judge the correctness of an answer, I should already have an idea of what the answer is. If that is required to ask a question, then why ask a question when you really already know the answer? The purpose of questions is to tell whether you really want to learn, and understand something, through answers.

11:27 AM
Accepting is different from voting. Voting is to help the community identifying the best answer by means of gamification (based the "wisdom of crowds"). The OP is just a single individual and may be quite clueless, so it would be foolhardy to assume that the accepted answer is the best. Accepting is simply a way to say: "Thank you for trying to help me solve my problem."

@FreeRadical Well my problem with that post on Meta is that from my perspective it's a solicitation of spam!

And if it didn't solve your problem? Remember, that with projects, there might not always be a single, evidence-backed answer like in programming.

@curiousdannii I am not the one who downvoted you on meta, but I still disagree ;-) about this. However, I see no way to resolve this disagreement, as we disagree about what to make of that post.

Anyways, I need to make a few stops before I catch my flight (and the drive to the airport is an hour away...) so maybe I'll catch you guys later. If Molde has internet (which I doubt), maybe there, otherwise, I'll catch you guys when I land in Oslo.

@Zizouz212 "And if it didn't solve your problem?" As I've already said, then you say so - to get better answers.
Ciao, @Zizouz212. Happy hacking.

11:33 AM
Oh ok :)
See ya in a few hours :D

11:49 AM
@FreeRadical Ah yes, meant to drop a comment on that. Agree with it.
The suggestion that is
Answers that say "yes in theory, but in practice work out what the rights owner wants" are perfectly valid

@ArtOfCode That's not what I read the post suggesting

> My concrete suggestion is that it should be acceptable to answer a question of this kind by explaining to the OP that business and legal context could be more important than technical maneuvering around a license.

If it does that while addressing the question itself, then fine

^ read to me as suggesting that answers that don't go into the legal intricacies, but instead suggest that the asker figure out what the rights owner wants and explain why, are answers

@ArtOfCode But they should be comments instead of answers

11:58 AM
@curiousdannii That's what the meta post is debating, I thought

A principle I think we should follow is that if an answer could be posted on almost any question then it doesn't belong as a answer

Whether such answers should be valid as answers or not
@curiousdannii That sounds like a good principle to me

If you ask "Is it allowed to link a GPL program with my proprietary program through method X?" then all the answers should be ones that could not also answer "is it not allowed to link a GPL program with my proprietary program through method X?"

Umm... Not quite getting you there
Surely if they answer the former, they answer the latter by the converse

I see @bmargulies' post as saying that we should allow answers which do not actually address either question if they say "GPL and method X have not been tested in court; even if they had you should check what the rights owners say rather than continuing on"
@ArtOfCode Well generally you'd have to switch the wording around: "yes your suspicions are correct" to "no your suspicions are wrong"
It's very hard to discuss this stuff without real examples...

12:03 PM
@curiousdannii That's what I meant by the converse. You can simply switch wording. It would have the same reasoning and the same sources, just different wording. Anyway, irrelevant
@curiousdannii If that's what it's saying then no. Shouldn't make a difference whether it's been tested or not, we should just be able to read the licenses, do some research and answer.
However, I think it is valid to say "this is what the license says, but it's a good idea to check with the rights owner anyway"

I see the third paragraph as suggesting that the best answer will not address any details of the actual question, but instead suggest that everyone take the path of least resistance to avoid lawsuits

@curiousdannii Put like that, it's a clear no

@ArtOfCode Yeah I agree that's okay

Answers have to address at least some of the question.

Agreed

12:05 PM
OK, I'll write up an answer to the meta post about this
Make it clearer

If you run into the wrong people you won't be able to avoid lawsuits, no matter which side of the law you're on
But that's not our site's topic. That might be on-topic on one of the business development related sites, but not here
(I'm not saying that all business related questions are off-topic!)

@curiousdannii "I see the third paragraph as suggesting that the best answer will not address any details of the actual question, but instead suggest that everyone take the path of least resistance to avoid lawsuits" There is nothing in the third paragraph suggesting that this would be the best answer

@FreeRadical Well the 2nd paragraph is the one which ranks answers
> it is not helpful to have an answer of the form 'I claim that there is some legal principle that permits you to do X or prohibits you from doing Y'
> My concrete suggestion is that it should be acceptable to answer a question of this kind by explaining to the OP that business and legal context could be more important than technical maneuvering around a license.
I've thought of another way to explain my problem with this proposal
This site is not about business advice
so it is inappropriate to answer technical questions as if they were business advice questions, and I think that's what this kind of proposal amounts to

It is clear that @bmargulies is of the opinion that such answers on principle is not helpful, so he will, as a rule, downvote them. That is his prerogative, so I am not in any way opposed to him wanting to do that. For the record: I may, or may not, do the same, depending upon context. He also writes: "I'm afraid that asking for all such questions to be off-topic would leave the sound of crickets, so I'm not suggesting that." So he is not suggesting we change anyhing.

@FreeRadical No, he's suggesting we allow answers which don't address the details of questions
On most sites that would be considered NAA

A: Legal principles and a generic 'XY' problem

ArtOfCodeYes and no. Yes: If a post poses the question: Can I do X, given Y license and Z conditions? then it is ok to post an answer which says Y license says A and B, which would imply you could do this. However, it may be wise to check with the rights owner anyway, since they can inflict la...

It will often be very important to consider the business context, but that advice belongs in comments, not answers
@ArtOfCode You've got my upvote!

@curiousdannii " No, he's suggesting we allow answers which don't address the details of questions" Well, again: I don't think so. But more important than speculating about what he really means is the fact that we haven't seen a single form answer of the type you fear yet. Banning something without a single example of what is not allowed seems a bit overreaching.

@FreeRadical I'm not banning anything, they're already considered invalid answers
I'm interpreting @bmargulies as suggesting we change the rules to allow them, and I'm saying that would be a mistake. How is that overreaching?
> My concrete suggestion is that it should be acceptable to answer a question of this kind by explaining to the OP that business and legal context could be more important than technical maneuvering around a license. That might not be the only answer -- but the community should view such an answer as a legitimate XY response, not as a non-responsive answer.

@curiousdannii Fine. So that is the status quo. I specifically asked him if he wanted to change the status quo, and he answered "Discussions on meta aren't always aimed at some concrete, crisp, outcome, such as a close reason, a paragraph in the help center, or a 'policy.' People always have the right to vote as they see fit. This posting here is intended as food for thought." I take that as "no".

@FreeRadical And by saying that he makes it sound like he just wants to talk into the wind
You can't say you're making a concrete suggestion and then say you're completely disinterested in any change
worse still, he may actively want to make the standard for questions and answers murky and illdefined
@FreeRadical Your own post says that his is not clear enough
Maybe we should wait until he clarifies.
I have to go to bed anyway

12:25 PM
@curiousdannii OK, I misunderstood what it was you wanted to ban. I thought you wanted to ban answers that explained why there is no conclusive answer to the use case at hand, and that if you want an answer you should ask the copyright owner. I don't think those are currently banned (as I've posted a few of those myself). If this is not what you meant, then I am sorry about using the word "overrreaching".

@FreeRadical Hey, I still don't think I'm banning anything! :P
It's usually very hard to conclusively show that a question can't be answered though
Especially if a question is of a legal nature in a case law based legal system

Well, then sorry again - I thought you wanted more than what is currently banned, banned. Since @bmargulies suggest no change to what we ban - you two seem to be in perfect agreement.

So as I wrote in my answer, I'd prefer we leave the questions unanswered
@FreeRadical No! @bmargulies clearly wants to change things
He just doesn't want to have firm policies on those changes? I don't know
anyways I hope he'll explain more
'night!

But what will you do if @bmargulies writes and answer explaiing why the specific case is legally tangled and that the OP should ask the copyright holder?

For such an answer to be valid it would need to explain why it's tangled, such as showing contradictory precedent

12:32 PM
And for the record: @bmargulies says that he posted "food for thought", and that he don't think anything need changing.

@FreeRadical That's a cop out
okay bye for realsies :P

"For such an answer to be valid it would need to explain why it's tangled, such as showing contradictory precedent." Of course! And that is what I believe @bmargulies want to do - he just would make sure we don't tag such an answer as an "unhelpful" or "non-responsive" answer.
Bye @curiousdannii.
@ArtOfCode You've stayed out of the fracas. Any thoughts?
@ArtOfCode I've noticed your answer, and upvoted.

@FreeRadical I've been looking at other things :) Give me a moment to catch up
@FreeRadical This is a valid answer, because it addresses the specific situation in the question
My position is pretty much as I put it in the answer I wrote

Yup, so we agree.

Sounds like it :)

12:46 PM
And the way I interpret @bmargulies, that what he wants too. He just wanted to remind us that sometimes, we should do this instead of going for a definitive answer.

And, for anyone interested, response from Grace Note:
Hi ArtOfCode,

Thanks for poking about this.

I'm the one who is in charge of appointing pro tem moderators for Open Source. Unfortunately, I managed to let myself get repeatedly distracted from reviewing candidates for the position until late last week. My plan was the send out emails this morning to the first three selections, since I'm usually opposed to sending emails over weekends.

I'm sorry about the delay. You'll be having moderators soon enough, though!

\\Grace Note
Stack Exchange Community Manager

OK, looks like you're going to get commissioned! My congratulations in advance.
Bye. Happy hacking.

Don't think so... If the plan was to send out emails this morning, I haven't got one

1 hour later…
2:18 PM
It's currently 10:17 AM in New York. I think that still qualifies as "This morning".

2:46 PM
@Martijn Bloody timezones... It's 15:46 here now
Where are SE? It's NY, right?

Yes

@Martijn You awesome person for reminding me of that. I just opened my emails. I have an email :D

But I think they're pretty big on remote employees, so miss Note could be in pretty much any time zone
Let me be the first one to officially congratulate you on your modessness

Composing my return email and trying not to sound too much like a blabbering idiot :)

If you fear sounding like a blabbering idiot, the best thing to do is answer in a couple of hours, or maybe tomorrow
unless the email specifies that you should reply at your earliest convenience, in that case, hurry up already :P

2:51 PM
Next three days, it says
I'm composing it now, and I'll come back to it later and re-read it

\o/

3:04 PM
@FreeRadical Thanks for that. Looks like I was wrong, happily :)

@ArtOfCode Let me repeat my congratulations, this time without forwarding it through time.

Heh. The concept of time-travelling congratulations is an interesting one.
Hey wait, does that mean I can just give out all my congratulation for various big events now, and just send them forward in time to when they're needed?

@ArtOfCode You beat me to answering the GPL violation question and my answer is a bit off target anyway - it is mainly about violations that are not fixed with the 60 day grace period. How - as mod - would you feel about me deleting that answer and repost it as self-answer to a question tailor made for it?
E.g. "Do I have to diclose my source code if I violate the GPL and do not fix it in a timely manner?"

3:22 PM
Heh, as mod. OK, I'd say that's fine. It's your answer and if you're not happy with it then you're free to delete it. That said, I do think it has some useful stuff in it about injunctive relief etc.

@FreeRadical For the SiteCom case, which I had completely forgotten about, do note that the case was only filed after SiteCom refused to either comply with the terms, or stop distributing IPTables

@Martijn. I know. That's why I am thinking about deleting that answer, and re-posting it as a self-answer to a question that makes citing SiteCom relevant.

Your answer, while correct, to my taste stresses that this is a thing that could happen over this is a thing that, in the case of removing the violating code with a mea culpa, could in theory happen, but probably wouldn't in a 1000 years

@FreeRadical That said again, that question you've got sounds like an interesting one and a good fit here
Aha, a solution: if I edit my answer to include some stuff about the legal relief, then the question doesn't lose it
@FreeRadical In fact, go ahead. When that question's done, I'll edit my answer a bit and link to it.

@ArtOfCode Fine, thanks.

3:27 PM
Also, my moderation policy is going to be pretty much one of "do it and then ask about it" - if you want to do something, go ahead, and if you weren't sure then ask. I'm not going to yell at people for taking some initiative, and I'm certainly not going to complain about people doing things for the benefit of the site. Most actions I'll be able to reverse anyway.

@Martijn ArtOFCode's answer covers the mea culpa situation well enough - I probably started typing at the same time as him, but being a slow typist - when I had finished, his answer was already posted.

3:39 PM
A good answer should probably include that a positive injunction is possible, and has happened, in that way your current to this question definitely adds value

@FreeRadical I had already upvoted the first iteration :D

Damn it, now I'm wondering who else the mods are... who else got that email.
@Zizouz212 Found one for you:

Q: What are the implications of the Google vs. Oracle case on the state of public APIs?

VermillionAzureThere is a case between Google and Oracle over the use of Java and it's standard library on the Google Android operating system. From this article: To recap: Oracle accused Google of copying some of its Java computer code when it wrote Android. Android itself wasn't the issue. Android is diff...

Clearly a popular question, yet has no satisfactory answer

I don't believe there is a satisfactory answer to that one

4:20 PM
@Martijn Perhaps not, but that could be the satisfactory answer to the question - "this case drew no obvious outcomes"

@Martijn - well that's one lost upvote :-) .
The quote used in the Google vs Oracle is also incomplete. The outcome of the case was actually the opposite of what the quote says. The original article quoted is correct, and I corrected the quote, but @Zizouz212 responded with a rollback.
Having a quote that actually makes you think the court decided opposite of waht it actually did is not going to help having that one answered.

@FreeRadical Rolled back. I'm a mod now :)

@ArtOfCode Thanks
Must go. Happy hacking.

Well I haven't got a diamond yet, but soon enough. See you :)

Alternatively @Martijn, this could be an answer:

A: What are the implications of the Google vs. Oracle case on the state of public APIs?

ArtOfCodeAPIs under copyright would be similar to software under copyright: you just can't use them as freely. In software, if you have a piece of proprietary software, you're not allowed to redistribute, reverse engineer, modify, develop from, etc etc. If this applied to APIs, you simply wouldn't be abl...

Sorry, @ArtOfCode

Congrats @ArtOfCode I'm glad you made the cut. No mail for me by the way.

What email?
Mail?
What?
@ArtOfCode I've been thinking about that one for a while, that was actually at the top of my list :)
Also, sorry for the rollbacks, also @ArtOfCode When you rollbacked, it deactivated the link...
I'm the only one here... :(

@Zizouz212 Which link?
OK, so I'm placing my bets on kdopen and Mnementh

If I were a betting men I'd be tempted to agree ArtOfCode

> Right now, I'm in Norway, and earlier today I went on a domestic flight between Molde and Oslo, in Norway. Of course, I'm 15, and I'm traveling with my younger brother, so naturally during the security check, they asked for documents that would allows us to travel alone.
> Right afterwards, this one lady just popped out of nowhere, and started searching my bag. Apparently, I had a small bottle of hand sanitizer that I keep in my bag (the bag was my school bag) and she starts yelling at me about how I need to always take liquids out of my bag for like 10 minutes (Wasn't a problem during my trip from Toronto to Oslo)... Right before I was about to get onto the plane, I got your email and it literally cheered me up.=
> I'm writing this response from my phone while getting my bags. :)
That was my opener paragraph :)

Fair enough :)
Their email asked about thoughts of the site and the position, so I chucked a few of those in

The bit I found the best was Grace's response to my response:
> I skimped a bit on personal talk in the initial email, since as you know, haha, I've been a bit delayed on getting these emails out. Delayed enough that you had to send a ticket about it! And to think, on Friday, after picking out my first round of selections, I thought,
> "I'll send the emails on Monday, I don't want people to have to check in over the weekend". But look where that got me ♪ All the same that you took the initiative to send us an email about that makes me glad about picking you for this round.

Oh wow :)
Everyone knows that you're the best person for the job, even SE :D

7:31 PM
Congrats, guys! @ArtOfCode @Zizouz212 Thanks for volunteering your time.

Thanks @HDE226868 :)

Oh wow, thanks :D

Hi karma

8:39 PM
@Zizouz212 Hey there!

Hey!
How's life art?

Pretty good right now, having just been told a diamond's on the way :)

Same here :) Ready for the job?

Been ready for it since I put myself forward for it. Wouldn't have volunteered if I didn't think I could do it.

lol, you'll be great :)

8:42 PM
I don't doubt you will too
A number of points I'd like to make, when we have a mod chatroom to do it in

Yep, and trust me, I'm sure we'll both be proactive in making sure things get done :)

Oh that we will. Bets on the third?

I'm not sure, I'm leaning more towards kd and mnementh, but I think I'll place it on overactor.

Oh, and let's not forget the unilateral vote and go closing questions singlehandedly left right and centre...

Oh yeah...

8:45 PM
@Zizouz212 overactor's said he hasn't got an email from Grace, so not him

Oh :(
Then, I say Mnementh. But both him and kd would be awesome.

I reckon definitely one of kd and Mmenenth. Could be either though
15/12 Mnementh/kdopen on the nominations post

I quite honestly don't think votes will be a factor, I mean, look at me...

True enough. OK, we can ignore that. They may have been a factor in my case, but I was an outlier

Thing is, they're both really good, and I have a had few disagreements with them both...

8:47 PM
Hey @Air

Hey :D

Somehow I've managed not to have any strong disagreements with anyone here
Yeah, I'd be more than happy with either of them

Not strong, but I've found a few things where I disagree with close votes and stuff, but they would both be great, and I'd like having either of them. We all work amazing together anyway :D

Yeah. I'm going to draft something I can stick on the announcement post

Air
Hi folks. I'm just lurking from work.

8:49 PM
@Air Always a good thing to be doing

Oh lol, I'll make sure I be you to it :)
What time is it where you are, @Air?

Air
@Zizouz212 Early afternoon.

Ah, 10:45 in the evening over here...

Heh. Only 21:45 here

Fine, 22:45 here...

8:59 PM
Well there's my draft

@ArtOfCode Votes often play into it, but votes are generally because the user has done a good job so far, and SE concurs. On the other hand, I once did not even have a nomination post and I was still emailed if I would do it, despite there being other good candidates (I declined).

Congratz to you too @Zizouz212 I have no doubt you'll do a great job.

@HDE226868 What site was that? Law?

@ArtOfCode Yep.
I made the right choice by declining.
The mods there are great.

9:12 PM
The decline rate on mod nominations on SE always surprises me
Far more people decline a nomination or email than I'd have thought

@ArtOfCode Modding isn't an easy job (on most sites).

@HDE226868 I get that, but I still thought more people would generally be up for the job

If so many people decline I might still have a shot :)

9:31 PM
Possibly - we'll see what the last candidate says

Hey
What's the ping about?
@overactor Oh thanks :D
