NO WAY
I just got a diamond helmet from a zombie!!
06:33
@RydwolfPrograms Did the zombie get spawned by a trial spawner in a trial chamber?
No, just in a cave
You should go check out a trial chamber
By defeating mobs from a spawner, you have a 50% chance to get a trial key, and a 50% chance to not get one.
My friend once got 2 diamond blocks as a reward
I’m not sure if it was from the trial key or a direct spawner reward.
@NewPosts Funny thing is, NaN is not equal to NaN, but they are not different either.
06:47
@DannyuNDos oh, there are different NaNs alright
Yeah, bit-wise, but the comparison operators don't care.
@TheEmptyStringPhotographer I mean, I have the resources for a diamond helmet, it's more just the insane rarity that makes it cool
That's the first time I've ever seen a mob spawn with diamond gear naturally, and the fact that it dropped too makes it even crazier
Wait sad...it looks like monsters can't actually spawn with just a helmet in Java, so it probably picked that up off a dead player
In which case the drop chances would also be 100%
Guess I still haven't witnessed the 1/17000 diamond armor zombie :p

M ∑ W is the other direction a symbol?
ო ε ω з
𐩦
(shapecatcher seems to be down rn but I found a similar site)
got
>>> import unicodedata
>>> unicodedata.name('ᕒ')
'CANADIAN SYLLABICS MEDIAL R'
>>> unicodedata.name('𐩦')
'OLD SOUTH ARABIAN LETTER SHIN'
>>> unicodedata.name('ᕑ')
'CANADIAN SYLLABICS WEST-CREE R'
Canadian syllabic to the rescue
彐 山 E ㆬ
What other quadruple are rot90?
07:53
Probably quite a few
Unicode is big
Depends how exact they need to be
That too, like for me ㆬ looks nothing like the other three
And yeah variation between fonts is relevant too
Interesting, to me 山 looks different than the others since the middle stem is longer
Same for me yeah
The last one is hooked for me tho and looks more like TO
First is squashed for me
07:55
First and last one look identical for me, third one is slightly shorter
MY JACKET SHIPPED
I'm so excited
Ooh I didn't think about the fact it's shipping from Britain...from the name "royal mail" my expectations are no lower than the king himself delivering it. Or maybe one of those royal guards.
CGSE jackets when?
I'm gonna look so emo I'm so excited
07:58
@l4m2 I'd use the cyrillic letter Ш.
I think I'd look way more emo with a lower lip piercing but my roommate (who has plenty of experience with piercings) says it'd look bad so idk
Like one off to the side
∃ Ш E ㆬ
Sorta like one half of a snake bite piercing
And I definitely am not still trying to copy Black Parade era Bob Bryar
Maybe get an eyebrow piercing
That's peak emo
Nah I personally really don't like those
My friends have lots of piercings and those are the only ones I don't really fw (well, and cheek ones too, or any others on "flat" skin if that makes sense)
Altho I guess if I do end up going down the air force route, it won't really matter what I do with my appearance because my hair will have to be short for the next 14 years
Emo president could go hard tho

I'm perpetually confused what you are trying to accomplish
Career-wise?
Fighter pilot -> astronaut -> law school -> congressman/senator -> president -> biologist -> math teacher -> death is the (admittedly slightly optimistic) plan
Mostly, you seem to have a really elaborate but self-contradictory plan
I think the biologist->math teacher step might be a bit risky
College: 19-23
Pilot (min. 10 yrs.): 23-33
Law school: 33-36
Congressman/senator: ~6-10 years
President: 4 years (no way in hell am I getting reelected after what I have planned)
Biologist: ~10 years
Math teacher: until I'm too old to teach
@mousetail Nah as desperate as the US is (and likely will continue to be) for K-12 teachers, you basically need a background check and a degree in literally anything and you're good to teach whatever
Surely you can't pass the background check as a biologist
My 10th grade english teacher (the one who used the N-word multiple times including in an email to the entire student body) didn't even have a teaching certificate
08:08
But was he a former biologist?
I guess you got me there
Supreme court justice is another post-presidency option I'd consider
But I'd have the supreme court as packed as a SIMD instruction from twenty years from now by the time I'm out of office
Anyway I should probably go to sleep o/
NO WAY someone just posted spectrograms of some of the songs off the new BMTH album and there's some crazy shit hidden
Here's a select few
And there's five more
I love this band so much
Wait one's a QR code to a whole ARG
I have to resist the urge to dive deep into BMTH and TØP lore because I will drown in it
@RydwolfPrograms please tell!
tell.wtf (Didn't link to it since it had a bunch of annoying tutorial-y stuff before you can get to the actual utility)
08:25
@RydwolfPrograms how do you clear the drawing area?
09:12

Q: Transpose these notes!

3-1-4-One-FiveIn this challenge, you should take input as a number between 0 and 11 inclusive and a (possibly empty) list of the following strings/notes: C Db D Eb E F Gb G Ab A Bb B You are required to output flat notes, not sharp notes. Also, notes cannot contain more than one flat sign (Bbb is not allowed)...

@DannyuNDos actually they do, if you turn on floating-point exceptions

anyone else's surge.sh sites just refusing to load
mine just loaded

🙃
Why don't unicode just allocate 26*26 codepoints for flags but use two char? This makes reverse suffer issue on flags
it's not like that's the only thing that fucks grapheme clusters up if you only reverse codepoints
@lyxal ...yeah turns out i can't load anyone's surge.sh sites
and then i tried opening mine in tor and it's totally fine
15:44
In Robot Is Chill, mathman make most builtins not count toward the macro cap(github.com/balt-dev/robot-is-chill/pull/160). Then I infloop by =m x --debug [store/x/\[\r\e\p\l\a\c\e\/\[\l\o\a\d\/\x\]\/\.\(\.\)\/\\\1\]][replace/[load/x]/.(.)/\1]
Is it possible without variable?

6 hours later…
22:11
@l4m2 So that Unicode doesn't have to update country flags constantly - instead vendors can decide what flags to render
