@Wasif Calvin's Hobbies, Wheat Wizard, Martin Ender, Stewie Griffin, Zgarb, Doorknob, AdmBorkBork, Kevin Cruijssen, James, Leaky Nun, caird coinheringaahing, and Beta Decay is at exactly 100 (this should only be undeleted posts)
SELECT (SELECT DisplayName FROM Users WHERE Id = OwnerUserId), COUNT(*) FROM Posts WHERE PostTypeId = 1 GROUP BY OwnerUserId ORDER BY Count(*) DESC; I think this is correct? not good at sql lol
thanks, it was heavily inspired by the style of yours :P
my first lambda one was kinda messy cuz a) i intentionally used the watercolor tool to do it, b) hand-drawing by mouse in paint-3d, and c) that was kind of the intention
but i just noticed it's slightly miscropped and i can't live with that and i don't have an editable copy anywhere so i just re-did it :P
They've been around on our site a bit before so I think they know at the very least the basics :P but I don't recall having seen you around much, so welcome (or welcome back) to The Nineteenth Byte! :)
@cairdcoinheringaahing was it you who got trolled by SE's "positive record" policy with your earlier posts before you understood the site or was that someone else
i have 13x good question and only 1x good answer despite having 6.66x as many of the latter
Posting an answer vs a question has the same effect on "notifying" people, and just accept the newest one (or sort by active, I doubt they'll be edited much after posting) :P
Yeah, but with new blog posts each time you can see the title in the featured sidebar. It'll die out if people have to actively check when there's a new blog post (or follow it)
i personally favor posting a new question each time
adding an answer would bump it to the top, so the difference then becomes whether an older post is moved up or a new post is added on top of the old post
if the old post is visible when the new post is up, meta isn't that active, and nothing really gets pushed off by the activity
if meta is active enough, the old post won't be on the front page anymore when the new post is added
The main difference is the title of the post; a new one means we can change the title and feature it, and that'll attract people not typically active on meta or in The TNB (a significant number of potential readers)
We could change the title of the question the answer's posted on each time, but it does seem like there's already a feature that allows individually named posts that can be conveniently tagged and sorted :p
because of how long the name "Duocentehexaquinquagesimal" is, community is autoflagging all of the new answers in it as duplicate answers of each other because the actual code is so short that the identical content ratio is really high because of the name length
I want to avoid responding to illegal or spoofed addresses. One type that's easy to detect is an address that should not exist on a packet received by my router: a special-use address.

Given an IPv4 32-bit address, identify whether it is valid general-use address.

CMP: Head over to all your actions tab on your user profile (profile -> activity -> all actions -> all, that link won't work unless you're me). How many actions do you have?
@hyper-neutrino Apparently, ChatExchange is a pip installable module (can't speak to how good it is tho)
@cairdcoinheringaahing lies, the link worked for me (:P)
i have 4324
@cairdcoinheringaahing oh, huh that's cool. the one i stole from you works very nicely so i'll just stick with that :P (well, actually i'm not using my bot anymore, but w/e)
Q: I'm writing up a challenge where the aim is to write a bot that listens in to messages posted here and posts them modified into another room. Is that allowed?
The bots should never post a message into this room
Actually, never mind, the challenge wasn't a good one in the first place :/
as output or in-place modifying the file? also are we supposed to reverse the order of words or reverse the characters in each word individually? also what defines a word
Having just written the tag wiki for deleted-answers, I think writing the tag wiki for deleted-questions was the quickest I've ever written a tag wiki :P
+500 rep to the shortest vanilla dyalog apl answer under 30b (i.e. competing with rak's extended answer) to https://codegolf.stackexchange.com/q/223464 . the way in which it will be rewarded is that once i notice someone posting an answer under 30b, i'll start a bounty, which i will award after a few days to the then shortest answer
@cairdcoinheringaahing you mind telling me why you thought it would be a good idea to repurpose JHTbot to repost old jokes made by TNB users? I swear the dream world version of TNB is very different to irl TNB
(⊢∨≠\∧2=+/) (∨\∧∘⌽∨\∘⌽) two completely different solutions to the same problem
wish dyalog regular had under so it could be (∨\∧∨\U⌽)
wow, I just realised this is equivalent to (⌈\⌊∘⌽⌈\∘⌽), which is part of the solution to a problem I did earlier involving finding the volume of water enclosed between columns of given height
Jelly implements a lot of "inverse" commands as separate commands (basically all the under dot characters), so it'd involve massive reworking of the system to do that via a quick (operator)
