Q: Output programming language name

P. KtinosChallenge: In the programming language of your choice, take no input and output your programming language's name. Fair enough, right? Restrictions: You can't use any character that is included in your programming language's name in your code. E.g., if I use Batch, I must not use the chars 'B...

Q: Hacker Challenge: Guess the Correct Password

VJZGamingHDIn an attempt to “liberate” their fellow birds, a group of highly intelligent hens are attempting to compromise the zoo’s security system. To get access to the zoo’s mainframe, the hens first need to guess the administrative password. The hens know that the password is a string built from up to 6...

Congrats.
@Razetime you've only visited 100 days in a row? Pathetic
I'm up to 451 days and counting
I'm only on 71 consecutive 😔
Bruh smh
439 is my total
622 is my total

Consecutive?
@Lyxal It has literally been 120 days since I joined this place smh
10:19
bah, I've only got 590 consecutive, I must have been ill or something
My religion prevents me for getting even close to that.
@Adám is the timezone of your religion UTC?
@dzaima No, it is true visual sun-time (1 hour equals (sunset-sunrise)÷12), but there are periods of 49.2 (and some years even 73.2) hours where I can't be online.

@cairdcoinheringaahing seems ok?
How many votes do I need on a sandbox before posting to main?
@AncientSwordRage There's no hard and fast rule, but +2 or 3 after 2 days is usually a good indicator
Generally, if it's positively scored, you haven't had any new feedback for a day or two and you don't see anything major, it's probably good to go
oh cool!
thanks
Let me know if anything is wrong with my main post

Q: Convert Magic the Gathering colours to a Colour based deck name

PureferretMagic the gathering has many unique names for colour combinations in decks, as an example when Blue and White appear together in a deck, the deck maye sometimes be named after the Ravnican Guild that features those colours, namely 'Azorius'. There are some exceptions, and oddities though. Below i...

@cairdcoinheringaahing I think I explained the letter ordering in the last paragraph
@AncientSwordRage Yeah, I caught that while rereading after I posted my comment :/
@cairdcoinheringaahing at least I don't need to re-edit my post
There is that :P

Anyone else think it's a bit weird that AWS basically sponsors a lot of the computer science classes in the US? Seems like a bit of an unethical strategy to teach children, in actual schools, to use your products rather than competitors'.
To me is seems like disguising product placement as education.

Honestly, having education funded by mega-corporations is pretty on point for the US
14:52
Oh nice, our next assignment is "write a 1 page written response on whether privacy or utility is more important in relation to personal data collection"...can't wait to not-so-subtly hint at Amazon's involvement in our education, and make sarcastic remarks about how convenient it is that they teach us how to use all of their programs in school,
and not competitors', so we can work for them or pay for their services without needing to take the time to make a (potentially inconvenient!) decision about which is actually the most useful
@RedwolfPrograms On the other hand, there is the delicious irony of someone learning to code because of amazon becoming the new main competitor to them, however unlikely that is
I just realised I spell colour with a U, which makes some of my challenge odd. I'd have allowed both, but I don't see an problem restricitng to the american spelling

whichever saves bytes
@cairdcoinheringaahing Looks postable
I'm cool with the idea of rewriting this question

@RedwolfPrograms The high schools around here have a bunch of networking classes that are, from what I hear, as much about Cisco hardware as anything else

Q: Are these states connected?

KebaWith the US election going on right now, I noticed that there is one (completely meaningless, but still) thing which Trump can still achieve and which is out of reach for Biden: Having the won states being connected. Task: Given a list of strings of two-letter abbreviations (see below) for US sta...
