Right now I'm pulling an all-nighter trying to finish a machine-learning project. RIP my sleep schedule and quality-of-life.
Everyone else in the class already gave up.

it's a deep neural network learning a sine function.
The reason everyone's giving up is that nobody has any tensorflow experience, and this part of the project involves crafting our own loss function.

Update RE: project, the deadline was pushed back because the prof spent some time re-explaining what we're supposed to do. But now another project has been assigned, which is solve a PDE with a neural net.
