@DJMcMayhem You accidentally a letter there

Oh yeah, I did

You mean he accidentally added an an extra letter

But really, that's more impressive, right? I mean, I'm surely the only user with a badge

@Mego Nice one. Mention a typo with a typo in your mentioning

9:08 PM
Probably the top user too

@Christopher That's actually a meme

@Mego Sheesh every time I think I make a new meme it is a old meme (ノ°Д°)ノ︵ ┻━┻

@Christopher Solution: don't try to make memes. It's foolproof.

"Sheesh every time I try to golf a solution really well I get outgolfed" "Solution: don't try to outgolf anyone. It's foolproof."

Memes were just a fad. They've passed now

9:12 PM
Tell that to imgur... :P

I know. It was just an inane comment disguised as a clever joke

@trichoplax flags then you get banned for offensive content

What on earth are you talking about? I don't see anything offensive

You can't get someone banned by flagging them. Flags only count against someone if they get validated

Or are you just trying to make a joke? I miss jokes easily :P

9:15 PM
@ETHproductions It was a joke.
Also fixed reply link

oh, ok. Sorry

I did wonder if you meant that one

I mean saying memes have passed :P

TFW you find you have several pages each open in 2 or 3 separate tabs

People do get very protective of their memes

How did I not see that

Q: Conflict between kolmogorov-complexity tag wiki and usage

ETHproductionsNote: we had a similar discussion a while back, but the scope of this question is slightly different and aims to provoke action rather than just being a discussion. Most questions currently tagged with kolmogorov-complexity fall into one of these categories: Challenges about producing a fixe...

A: Sandbox for Proposed Challenges

ETHproductionsIs this a triangular number? code-golf decision-problem number Given a positive integer, determine whether it is a triangular number, and accordingly output a truthy/falsy value, or any two constant, distinct values. Definition A triangular number is a number that can be expressed as the su...

Well that was considerably faster
Good job @NewSandboxedPosts, you win the RSS race against @NewMetaPosts

Q: Guess how to pronounce German words

DPenner1Introduction Unlike English, German is considered to have quite a phonemic writing system. That means that the correspondence between spelling and pronunciation is close. Given any word you aren't familiar with, you would still know how to pronounce it because of the spelling system. This means ...

10:48 PM
@LeakyNun It's a unary operator

A: Be the First 1 (leave only the first Truthy)

ChristopherBrain-Flak, 230 bytes ([]){{}({}[()]<>)<>([])}{}<>([]){{}({}<>)<>([])}{}<>({<({}<>)<>>()}<(())>){({}[()]<<>({}<>)>)}{}(([])<{{}(({})())({<{}>{}((<()>))}<{}{}>)({}<>)<>([])}<>>){({}[()]<({}<>)<>>)}{}<>([]){{}({}<>)<>([])}{}<>{}{}([]){{}({}<>)<>([])}{}<> I will explain soon but my mom cooked me ...

I feel like sharing this because I am very proud of my answer

11:06 PM
I have none with a +10 challenge

user165474
Well since I don't need to backtrack it should be easier. Is brute-forcing all 2**(n**2) configurations allowed? :D [I know it's not :(]

user165474
Let there be a circle of 5 ones and 4 zeros, in any order. Then, on each iteration, replace each digit with the inverse of the XOR of the digits on either side of it (also just iff). Prove that you will never reach a state of all zeros.

@HyperNeutrino either side?

@HyperNeutrino Yes. But it would be very slow

user165474
@ASCII-only Hm?

11:12 PM
There is nothing against it in the rules

user165474
Oh perfect. Then I don't need to care about making it even decently efficient.

user165474
This should be fairly easy then.

user165474
(hopefully)

But it does have to actually finish

@HyperNeutrino oh wait circle

user165474
11:14 PM
Yes :)

user165474
@Christopher oh. lol

A: Loopholes that are forbidden by default

ChristopherCode that never finishing running on challenges that need finite output If you try to brute force a code-golf challenge to save bytes the code must run and compile without crashing. If you can't run it without crashing on the largest or have another user verify that it does your answer is invalid.

@HyperNeutrino you will always have an even number of points with a 0 on one side and a 1 on the other (meaning an even number of 0s), QED

@ASCII-only Yay :D

11:56 PM
@HyperNeutrino too lazy to actually like prove it and stuff
