OK. New sublime issue.
@mınxomaτ Switch editors, willya?
@noɥʇʎPʎzɐɹC I don't use Sublime. I'm just writing the syntax model.
@mınxomaτ why?
So I can convert it to ancient TextMate, so that Atom's stupid tools can convert the Textmate files to their ....
halp I am bored
@mınxomaτ You use Atom? o_O
21:03
No, but others do.
@TuxCopter --- BEGIN CONTENT AIRDROP ---
And I need to provide syntax modes for all major editors.

oh a new video from Kurzgesagt
--- END CONTENT AIRDROP ---
@wizzwizz4 The farthest you can go is 77 panels and 14 choices.
If I have a function f that returns true if a character is uppercase, should f('!') be true or false?
@ConorO'Brien error
New video from Kurzgesagt = AHHH WE'RE ALL DOOMED
@ConorO'Brien false

@TuxCopter I highly reccomend reading waitbutwhy.com/2014/10/religion-for-the-nonreligious.html
Solved other Sublime problem.
Writing state machines with regex makes you unlearn regex at once.
@AlexA. You have infiltrated the starboard, taken it by storm
There's apparently an interesting connection between equal-temperament tuning schemes and the Riemann hypothesis.
21:27
Huh what?!
Explain now. Please.
Basically, the quality of a particular X-equal-temperament tuning system (where X = number of divisions per octave) is closely linked to the value of the Riemann zeta function along the critical line.
Okay, I guess that's enough detail. Interesting!
The larger the absolute value of the function, the better a tuning system.
@El'endiaStarman oeis.org/A117536 these are a list of equal temperaments which do relatively well (compared to their size).
That's seriously cool.

that's like r/woahdude + r/creepy
@El'endiaStarman is something wrong with your job?
@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ No, I'm starting tomorrow. I wrote that after several suggestions of things to do that would have been bad for my employment. :P
@El'endiaStarman Hey, congrats! I hope you have a great first day on the job tomorrow. :)
Thanks! :D
What's the position?
"Associate Software Engineer", but that sounds quite generic to me.
22:33
"Employee"
Well, it has "software engineer" in the title, so I bet you'll be great at it.

Q: Thinking outside the box - Am I doing it right?

LaikoniI keep hearing that thinking outside the box is a goal worth achieving, but how can I tell if I'm successfully doing it? To solve this dilemma I have already wrote a Brainwave-to-ASCII-translator which in theory should produce outputs like # +------------+ # | thin...

@El'endiaStarman congrats! and lol

Someone changed en.wikipedia.org/wiki/… to tell people not to enlarge the list by killing people

it wouldn't surprise me if that got reverted
it wouldn't

@El'endiaStarman you can get pretty darn far without the green gun, as long as you are willing to walk a long ways
if you grab some cubes from right after you get the blue gun, you can clear about half of all the puzzles I think
