Doorknob is always here lurking, Alex is still active, I think mainly dennis and martin are not here often.
@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ Always.
Knowing Doorknob he probably has a userscript that pings him any time a capital "D" is mentioned
pls send teh codez, I need one for small caps.
@HelkaHomba So mentions of Dennis would also ping Doorknob?
23:03
Dennis is Doorknob
Surely Doorknob would design the userscript such that the false positive rate is lower
@HelkaHomba Has this been proven?
23:03
Ah, but a userscript is unnecessary. You're all my chatbots anyway, so I know when you mention my name.
@AlexA. Everyone = Everyone round here anyway, ^ see
@AlexA. boulder, CO
Beep boop give all your reputation to Doorknob I am chatbot
@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ either Google drive or Google payments
@Doorknob oh, right. I forgot. :/ maybe time for a firmware update?
@NathanMerrill payments?
like android pay?
23:05
@NathanMerrill Oh nice! That's not too far from where you are now, right? Aren't you in Provo?
Their backend system to hook up to payment gateways. (Mostly they are focusing on 3rd world countries, who apparently use arcane methods)
@AlexA. yeah, close to there. It's about a 8 hour drive
@Doorknob wait, even alex?
and geobits?
I thought they were their own chatbots?
@NathanMerrill okay
@QPaysTaxes Only technically.
Minibot? You mean Minibits
ok
@QPaysTaxes oh, okay.
@QPaysTaxes where does Minibot come from then?
Minibits already has a digital brain. :P
> Minibits is Geobits' android
> Minibot is Minibits from the future after digital brain uploading
Minibits = Android
Minibot = Digital (redundant) Minibits?
@QPaysTaxes ...
"Minibits" is what @Geobits calls his irl kid, for the record
I don't think it's his actual name
but who knows
23:12
@HelkaHomba Devon
Why not? @VTCAKAVSMoACE is naming their child Vitsy :P
Devon knows?
@HelkaHomba his real name is Devon
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ Yes, and they shall appreciate their namesake.
wow. he came in, said that, and left ._.
oh yeah because he's sleeping
23:16
@QPaysTaxes sleepchatting
ninja'd
Oh dear, that's hilarious
@Phrancis hahahahaha
> I have seen many people and Ted Cruz is one of them. –Firstname Lastname
23:19
I love how the "Update" section is that one picture just horizontally tiled
@VTCAKAVSMoACE Full name Vitsy Acavẽs Mouse?
s/mouse/purzdoge/
Is "acavẽs" some kind of language for "avocado"?
translate: acavẽs
(from English) acavẽs
The answer is apparently no

Q: Greatest Divisor for Python

Vishok JI got introduced to Python a week ago, and so am new to the language, but was wondering if there was a simple way to find the greatest divisor of an integer in Python. I have figured out how to find the greatest common divisor, but am curious as to finding just the divisor. I apologize if this so...

Mini challenge: rotate the consonants in a word one spot to the right. e.g. avocado -> adovaco -> acodavo
Hm, that actually sounds kind of hard.
ok Axel
s/kind of //
@HelkaHomba ;)
23:25
It's invalid after the new challenge is posted
@HelkaHomba pyth.herokuapp.com/… 16 bytes
Nice Namltyes
Doesn't preserve spaces
@AlexA. do I need to @HelkaHomba?
Well you're only rotating consonants, right? I assumed all other characters should be left intact.
23:27
Erm, sure
> rotate the consonants in a word
oh
¯\_(i can't read)_/¯
Also, does anybody know how to do this? I forgot to ask here first.
@AlexA. I'm doing all non-vowels instead of consonants
And it'd be cool if capitalization stayed the same. Cat -> Tac instead of taC
23:29
^ where did the j go?
got juiced
evidently
@Phrancis oh lel, my thing is borked if you have repeated consonants
@QPaysTaxes I don't want to test it
@HelkaHomba You could make this into a nice challenge for main
Laziness
I has it
@AlexA. Someone else can. When I turn every idea I have into a challenge I never get anything else done >.<
23:34
haha
Let's test something
"i can't read".replace(/ c(an)(')(t)( )rea(d)/g,"$1m$4$1$4i$5io$3")
"ianm an idiot"
I'm expecting this message to get between 2 and 5 chat stars.
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ Information Assurance Network Manager?
23:37
This message will obviously get starred: Helka is a better name than Calvin
13
stair bait
but eh
What happens when starred messages get deleted?
Star void?
Black hole
@HelkaHomba ಠ_ಠ
#fail
"i can't read".replace(/ c(an)(')(t)( )rea(d)/g,"$0m$4$1$4i$5io$3")
"i$0m an idiot"
that's not it.
23:41
XD
there we go
you get no stars
@QPaysTaxes It's because you're actually an idiot and not being facetious :P
Hey @LuisMendo, are you around? I have a Matlab question for you.
Speaking of questions, do you believe in stars?
This message will obviously get more stars: Calvin is a better name than Helka

(3 out 10 people say "yes")
Quite Interesting, it's a quiz/comedy in the UK.
One of the best shows here, IMHO.
Also, watch the entire thing - that is actually related.
@VTCAKAVSMoACE I beg to differ. IMO Graham's show is the best.
23:52
@mınxomaτ Graham's show?
Oh, THAT show, Graham Norton.
Eh.
I watched one or two, didn't really like it.
Well, it's certainly better than any american late night garbage show.
"What shape is this staircase?" "It's not there!"
23:56
@mınxomaτ colbert?
@Maltysen I like him, except the interview style.
I get the feeling every late night show host is trying to hard to be a character. Whereas in the Graham Norton show (which is essentially one big interview), the guests are actually the main focus.
