anyway i joined this room to discuss the tips questions and whether we should re-close them but what's even happening here, is everyone just suddenly a furry now
@hyper-neutrino Oh sorry, I thought you meant the lambda calc tips page one. If you mean that, please wait for me if you don't mind! Bubbler also has thoughts, I think. But if you mean a different one, discuss whenever of course!!
this isn't really all that clear even, because they don't properly specify the precise required tasks and layout of the DB, and what they want in terms of "short"
This would be a better fit for codegolf.stackexchange.com, but in its current state wouldn't be acceptable to post there. If you included what you've done so far to make the code shorter along with that the actual task you're trying to accomplish is, with details, then it might be on-topic there — Dude coinheringaahing1 min ago
@DLosc I'd like to argue that Dogs > Star Wars ≈ Star Trek > Scala > Dragons > Spaces > Peta bread > Peeta > Java > Gale > Tabs > JavaScript > Python > Spiderman > Batman > Superman > Cats > PHP > SQL > The last book of the Hunger Games man that was a shit ending > The last 10 books of the Pendragon series
I agree that it... wasn't great. I think Collins wanted to make it really dark in keeping with the overall tone of the series, but then the publisher or somebody said "This is a YA novel you have to give it a happy ending" so then she tacked on an epilogue that didn't fit the tone of the series at all.
Ok, so I clicked a link somewhere in Vyxal, but I opened it in a new tab, and I didn't even realise it was a rickroll, and now I can't find the message.
Hey look, someone mentioned Donald Trump in a Politics.SE chat room. I'm sure this will go well, and not at all devolve into a flag and insult hurling match :P
you can ask a mod if you want, but not all mods care or will do something about it - as long as they don't post, it's technically not within things we're really expected to handle, and busier sites' mods have better things to do than care about these pests
also, everyone has a different identicon (that's the point) so like... user manually made their alt's pfp their main's identicon, so i don't think it's meant to be non-obvious
