12:00 AM
I was a bit surprised ConEmu adapted a bash startup task so early, but it's working fine.
@quartata Of course the bash shortcut has an ubuntu logo. It is ubuntu.

C:\Users\Conor O'Brien\Documents\Programming\temp\ITML>git checkout
fatal: You are on a branch yet to be born

C:\Users\Conor O'Brien\Documents\Programming\temp\ITML>
o-o
is git a command line tool or a cult

@mınxomaτ What do you mean?

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ cd .. & del /S /Q ITML/*

Is it like a VM?

@mınxomaτ uh no
tempting

12:02 AM
@quartata It's baked into the Windows kernel. It's faster than a VM. Think of it like SSHing into a weird second personality of your windows kernel.

@mınxomaτ ew

It's pretty awesome for software testing. No need for any VMs.

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ You are in a maze of twisty git branches, all alike.

@RenderSettings so you lead this cult? :p
@mınxomaτ I already did that, and that looks really suspicious
BOOYAH
IT WORKED
I AM A GENIUS

Pfft, no way. I don't get git. I'm pretty so /no one/ gets git, except for maybe Linus. And even that is a "maybe".

12:05 AM
@RenderSettings Linus is actually a magician

@RenderSettings git gud then

I restarted my shell >_>

nice

errr
it's actually CMD. can I call that a shell?

i think it's a shell but not a terminal

12:07 AM
@AlexA. Serious poll now, I meant to ask this when I started talking about electric cars the other day - strawpoll.me/10233146

@VTCAKAVSMoACE I have!

@HelkaHomba supercapacitor fuel cell when

@RenderSettings huh?

@HelkaHomba Huh, 5 votes and I'm the only one who voted for fewer gas stations. Everyone else voted for "takes more time".

12:09 AM
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ Is your shell running? Then you'd better go hatch it! XD
3

@HelkaHomba did you mean batch? :3

@HelkaHomba Having to charge your car overnight, or for half an hour at a station is a major pain because of the speed of filling the battery. Capacitors don't have the same problem since they don't store power as chemical potential energy.

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ that could work too :P

Maybe I'm influenced by the long trips I've done in the past couple of years. When you drive for 10 hours, an extra 0.5 hour isn't that much.

There's the slight problem where shorting the two terminals causes it to instantly discharge, but meeeh. Just don't get in a crash.

12:10 AM
@HelkaHomba star-worthy

And it's a nice break where I wouldn't feel like I'm wasting time.

@El'endiaStarman I'm young and impatient >_>

@El'endiaStarman True. I was on the fence about it. Just stopping anywhere is majorly convenient

> Bloggoat separates into two words— Blog and Goat, which are essentially what this is… a blog, written by a (obviously real) goat. Apparently people don’t like wordpress but it’s easy enough to create a blog that doesn’t look like crap so why not. Turns out wordpress can do a bunch of other shit, like math.

@Bálint awesome

12:12 AM
ohshit if wordpress can do math, can it do my assignment?

@HelkaHomba Definitely. Means I can basically use up as much gas as I want and get maximum refueling efficiency.

@Downgoat I left a commentgoat

@RenderSettings Well please invent an EV that charges fast and you might benefit from it ;)

@Quill re downgoat why not just port my batch script to bash? it gives you much more freedom

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ I can't see my commentgoat

12:14 AM
@Downgoat you need to modergoat it

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ or use jekyll like a sane person
you can even learn ruby while you blog

@Quill jekyll was not sane

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ im too lazy, also i like to use templates so i look like a designer when im actually a goat with no time

@El'endiaStarman 5? I only see 4. Darn strawpoll has been doing this since their recent update >.>

@Downgoat ah I see.
@HelkaHomba he means 5 votes net

12:15 AM
Yeah? I see 4 total votes
1 for (2) and 3 for (3)

cool, wordpress has markdown for comments

@Downgoat I'm not a designer and I made a coolio designio
also the terminal thing won't let you login if you don't login to a specific site on SE
so at the moment it'd probably break if you didn't have a codereview account :p

@Quill I never said I can't make a coolio design, I don;t have the time though

then stop with your cheese and make a coolio designio

12:24 AM
nah
my websites design is the last design im ever making

@El'endiaStarman Though if you're running late somewhere low on power 5 min at a gas station can be way better than 30 min charging

import {sleep} from 'sleep';

async function juic(froot) {
    await sleep(30 * 60 * 1000);
    return `tried fo thirtee minut an no ${froot} juic`
}

juic('avocad')
I have very good test cases

12:39 AM
Kernel memory corruption in Symantec/Norton antivirus, CVE-2016-2208 (more patches soon). https://bugs.chromium.org/p/project-zero/issues/detail?id=820 https://t.co/F22xDIelSU

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ source code is > 10 k bytes o_O

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ \o/

12:41 AM
> I'd rather multiple remote branches, in an ideal world the concept of open source means others can help out instead of users poking repo owners with a giant stick

@Quill but branches have sticks--what else are they for?

firewood ;P

burn baby burn

@AlexA. @Zizouz212 @El'endiaStarman @Downgoat strawpoll.me/10233359

Yes?

12:43 AM
@HelkaHomba obviously goat

Wobbuffet is an animal?

Maybe you already voted and strawpoll is being derpy again :/

Well...

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ You should make an Apache module for ITML

@Zizouz212 Well if dragon counts...

12:43 AM
Wynaut?
I kind of like arctic foxes more

@quartata ooooooh

@quartata isn't that a helicopter?
2

Possibly because I'm a beaver.

@HelkaHomba ಠ_ಠ for enabling dupe protection... do you not trust us?

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ hehe
Wait that was a joke right?

12:44 AM
yeah

@Downgoat Why would we trust you?

Why would we trust @DrGreenEggsandHamDJ?

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ no its a tribe of native americans

^^

Just checking.

12:45 AM
lol

@Maltysen thank you for using the better term >_>

@DrGreenEggsandHamDJ why would you not

@Downgoat happy?

I've never made an Apache module but for what you are doing it's probably pretty straightforward

I'll try it I think

12:46 AM
@HelkaHomba ;_;

@HelkaHomba Shots fired.

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ you'd have too enable it as a cgi in httpd.conf, methinks

@quartata My mind isn't working. I need to make a verb that takes l as left arg and r as right arg and return c f (l g r), where c is a constant. help? :|

Wow, someone is really anti-goat strawpoll.me/10233387/r

@HelkaHomba I'm taking joy to downing the goat. Multiple times too!

12:47 AM
I only did 2 to get the ball rolling :I

@Maltysen I don't know much apache so I don't know what that means

@HelkaHomba I may have voted at least 7-10 times now

@HelkaHomba Foxes are best

That's allowed, right?

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ Last time I looked at your challenge, it had 1337 points views.

12:48 AM
@DrGreenEggsandHamDJ which challenge?

@AlexA. So much for trying to make a perfectly even poll .-.

The one you stole took inspiration from Helka.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Zizouz212 Sure. No dupe checking enabled

12:49 AM
Yaay! :D

@HelkaHomba I like foxes, but not especially arctic ones.

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ Hmm? What does c f (l g r) do?

@DrGreenEggsandHamDJ This one?
16
Q: Smallest integers after N divisible by 2, 3, and 4

Cᴏɴᴏʀ O'BʀɪᴇɴGive credit to whom credit is due. Objective Given an integer N > 0, out the smallest integers A, B, and C so that: All of A, B, and C are strictly greater than N; 2 divides A; 3 divides B; and 4 divides C. This is a code-golf, so the shortest answer in bytes wins. You may use a language mad...

Wassup

12:50 AM
@HelkaHomba f(c(g(l,r))

Arctic foxxen are actually really cute.

all foxxxen are cute

Apr 28 at 19:41, by Eᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏ Iʀᴋ
ARCTIC DOGE

4 people voted for arctic foxxen :)

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ I'm still confused. c is a constant but a function?

12:52 AM
Even this one?
s/lounge//

@DrGreenEggsandHamDJ quick, @CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ post a cute picture of yourself so we get more votes

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ You've actually got me stumped. Gimme a second.

@HelkaHomba just a constant
@Maltysen are you asking for pixs? ಠ_ಠ

2 people voted for wobbuffet... Eh, wynaut?

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ maybe... >_>

12:53 AM
I'll make that three

This is my cousin:

AHHH I DON'T LIKE BLEACH

Huh if you could place a constant function in a dyadic fork...

@HelkaHomba wat

12:56 AM
do we have a partial fraction decomposition challenge?

hey quartata
I'm an idiot

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ k

?
That supposed thing call code looks like gibrish

Thar's what I was about to suggest

12:57 AM
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ did you just look up cute dragons?

@Downgoat >_> using the green filter

I don't like having to abuse bond all the time

I need help!

@AshwinGupta that's why were here

12:58 AM
I need to write something, or make something really impressive and cool.

Anyone else in here have enough points?

and unique.
any ideas?
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ ;)

honestly, just to show off.

@quartata yeah, it just lets me down a lot of the time

12:58 AM
but for good reason.

Q: I'd like to say a [word] or two about this tag

Dr Green Eggs and Ham DJWe have a tag: word I see no value in this tag. Here's from the wiki: Use this tag for: Challenges involving generating words Challenges involving using words Challenges involving manipulating words Or other cases where words are a large part of the challenge. Do not...

I need to impress a teacher. To get a spot on a team.

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ Does (have enough points).

@AshwinGupta does the final product or the code have to be cool

12:59 AM
@DrGreenEggsandHamDJ I just voted.

@AshwinGupta oh this for vex? write a PID

@Maltysen I suppose, it has to be impressive so doesn't cool go hand in hand w/ that.

@AshwinGupta fractals

@Maltysen PID?
@quartata could try that, what lang should I use?

And there it is.

12:59 AM
@AshwinGupta no I meant "final product" or "code"?
