I was updating from Kubuntu 15 to 16, and KDE decided to crash. After a quick restart, my screen stayed black. After hours of messing around in the TTY, I'm backing up my root directory to my external hard drive. This same hard drive has a Windows System Backup Image on it, around 200gb. After 40 minutes of an rsync command, I come back to find it is copying the windows backup to the subdirectory where I am putting everything. The hard drive is only 500gb, so now I am waiting for it to error.
