@ParamanandSingh I think closing that post as "needs details or clarity" is appropriate because I can't understand what they're doing (and thus they should clarify what's going on). I'm a little hesitant to claim that any post with an attempt that doesn't make sense mathematically ought to be closed - if the misconception/error is sufficiently obvious that it can be dealt with, it could be a useful question.
@ParamanandSingh That question needs serious help. However, as an exercise, I am going to have to remember it. I'll have to assign it to some analysis students in the future (assuming I ever get to teach such a class again).
In any event, I think that closing the question for lack of clarity is appropriate.
