Kind of cool you can have functions in bash / bourne shell. Do they have to come first before they are called? Do they only work with line one of #!/bin/sh or do they work with #!/bin/bash too? What's the difference between bash and sh. Should I post this as a question so @Serg can answer and make a 100 points?

@WinEunuuchs2Unix Use #!/bin/bash if you developed your script with/for Bash, unless you are really really sure that what you made is POSIX-sh (or something else?) compatible and does not contain anything specific to Bash.
if I write,

echo "foo"
or
#!/bin/sh
echo "foo"
both yields same. I have seen some scripts starting with #!/bin/sh or #!/bin/bash. Is there any difference between them?
I know that I can use either as the first line of scripts to invoke the desired shell.
Would #!/bin/sh be recommended if compatibility with all unix systems is an absolute requirement?
In my case the only OS' I care about are Ubuntu (Debian) and OSX.

Is it possible to robotically search in google or do they block it? I wanted to make pairs of every lsmod (linux kernel module I have) and pass it to google search with "Linux bug aaaaa bbbbb" reapeat a few hundred times until "Linux bug xxxx yyyy". Then capture any pages with launchpad.net or whatever.
The reason being two modules dell SMM bios and I8K fan control were causing my system to freeze every 10 seconds for a split second. I stumbled across the bug report by accident after a week. So I'm wondering if there are other combinations of drivers that might conflict. Would this be a good AU question you guys could answer and get points on?
@WinEunuuchs2Unix running a heavy game on a VM is probably going to require heavier specs, guess you'd probably be better with a dualboot, and having a linux VM on windows for those quick tests
I haven't used windows in a while, can't help much with setting a VM there, but that link I pointed you to is for VirtualBox on a Windows Host, maybe there's some documentation on their website on configuring it on windows

They call it science which makes it overrated. Unlike math I use at work such as 12 x 12 = 144 which is good to know. Or math I use in hobby like 8 bits in a byte.
it looks a lot like homework, the OP didn't show much effort on trying to solve the issue on its own, and I just wasted like several minutes easily writing a full answer
buy a car... it has a nifty place to put your gloves called a glove box...it's only 34K on average for a car....pretty good deal to know where your gloves are at all time.
@Serg I hope you don't mind my edit to your answer. I think you're right about what's causing the OP's problem and, if so, then just using a function instead of an alias (as my answer suggests) would not be sufficient. Whether the OP uses an alias or a function, the insight you have given in your answer (that it must be defined on the machine where the shell is actually being run!) is indispensable.
@JacobVlijm Hello, I want to know if there is any way I can restrict the email insertion infront of a domain to only 21 at a time. Say I got a company order where the employees are more than 500 and using gmail. Using your Python script I can successfully seperate the domain and the respective emails with it. But while working with MongDB for insertion, it is troubling as I am making json of it and giving input the record size in MongoDB is limted

I have one of the most perculair problems, when I place my laptop in the same room as my router my connection drops out, but if I sit several rooms away from it it works again. Anybody have the faintest idea how that's possible?
Yes... I want to keep it in a same file in same format. MongoDB can store duplicate @JacobVlijm @JacobVlijm records but records more than 16MB are not allowed

@JacobVlijm But the thing is MongoDB stored one single line in the form of record or document (more technically). That means a single line should not go beyond 16 MB. That means Files size can be any. But the single line size should not go beyond 16 MB
@JacobVlijm That is why I want to modify the script and get it done. with same domain name only 21 emails each. If there are more than 21 than the output must go to new line having the same domain and print the rest emails in same 21 emails format.
Then it can be solved. I think script #3 can be edited, but could you make it another question? I think it is better to make the process in two steps 1. do the thing script 3 does, then 2. rearrange the files to a certain size (items) per line. This way, the question will also be interesting (and possibly answereable) by others, and it will be more clear.
