Crossing my fingers that it's just Android and I'll be able to get them from TWRP

I really wish TWRP backed up /data/media

What good is a Nandroid backup if it doesn't have your files?

I have an off-topic question as I don't know where to turn to: Even if I am not visibly active on the website, I almost daily visit AskUbuntu, so I am permanently logged in. About two months ago I got curious about Area 51 and created an account there (using the same as on AU). I committed to a community or two, had a little activity there, all fine and well. A few days ago, I even got a reply from someone over there. But today, after, visting AU, I checked on Area 51 only to discover that...

I have to log in again. OK, I did that, but I ended up with another Area 51 account, almost identical to the old one!

And now I have two of them, both apparently realted to teh rest of my SE accounts.

How's that even possible and to whom do I have to turn to in order to get this duplicate fixed?

And, of course get my old Area 51 access back?

This is something that SE themselves has to deal with.

or do it from the A51 contact page.

Either way, you need to contact SE directly and ask them to merge your account or otherwise fix the issue.

@KazWolfe I tried on Area 51 contact page by choosing the "merge duplicate accounts" default category. after clicking "submit" I got an error mesage sounding something like that : "this operation can't be performed here, please go to the main site". If that operation can't be performed there, then why is that category created in the first place?! It's not logical.
