@Serg Internet pooped again, Ubuntu tends to reset my icons to a jumbled mess in no order, however Windows they always stay in the same place. ^ Yes, Ubuntu does reset my icons every time I restart or even logout/and in
@DavidCole-GrammarPolice As far as remembering icon positions , there is already solutions for that. I remember Jacob wrote as script for similar question. It has to be used jointly with "Orgainze by name" option in right click, though. There's no automatic way, really.
I need to get into my router VIA anyway possible. Default gate is 192.168.2.1, and like I said I can't hard-wire my way in, but I don't know the MAC address I'd need to get in.
I'm using ubuntu 16.04. Here is the output of ifconfig:
-> ~$ ifconfig
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 3c:97:0e:e2:27:ea
UP BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0...
@KazWolfe yeah but @edwinksl got all the comment badges :)
@edwinksl I can see some of my +5 comments are ridiculous - there was one that just says "it seems to be telling you the answer" where the error message said what to do and OP hadn't tried to do it
(Actually, there may be a way to update the key, but it would require that iBoot provide a mechanism for this, and it would also require driver signing)
