@rancho But, actually there is an OS called Menuet OS and it is 1.44M and can fit on a floppy. Its written entirely in Assembly, and supports up to full HD monitors, can play 3D games, can play MP3s, has an Internet browser, supports x64 CPUs and up to 128GB of RAM.
@Serg I never understood why people like that color scheme... hard on my eyes. I also believe in some functionality in colors. I usually have red reserved for something critical, e.g. prod server is red, dev server is green, etc.
@Chan-HoSuh red eventually will be gone, I like my prompt simple, but i do like contrast with background and main text. I'm actually playing with xterm right now on a laptop with Ubuntu Kylin. I don't have much installed there, and I don't like recent changes to gnome-terminal, so Xterm . . . and byobu
@edwinksl Big news indeed for Singapore. It is notable that countries who are new to Olympic medals are much more sportsmanlike than the usual culprits who are assembling many...
I have a puzzling problem. When I finish installations, Ubuntu seems to spit out some kinda bad block or errors that cover my screen and keeps going until I reset the computer.
But that seems to Freeze my computer, so no booting until battery dies.
It is quite the annoying, there is no SUPER BL...
I will soon get 4 gold badges and 1 sliver badge sometime soon when ever I get it. :)
Breaking News!: We have confirmmed that Henry WH Hack v2.0 and ƎpᴉʇʎXD are the two exact same people yes ƎpᴉʇʎXD was a prank by all the time by HWHHv2.0. :D
the tiny shorts are lucky to get one outing per year @andrew.46 ... what really kills me is that folks here complain that it's too hot when the mercury climbs over 25. It is NEVER too hot for me here.
yea, and 40+ is 'too hot'. I lived in the south of China for a few months one summer and it was cooking hot the whole time... but still not really too hot for me. I'm in the wrong place :)
Of course you get used to any temperature. We can have a few 40 degree days and then you go to the movies a lot, swim in the local pool, dress lightly, drink lots of cold water etc
oh you're right... I think it should have been improved rather than rejected... lucho probably didn't see that info, I think the OP edited at the same time, because that info was not there when the post first appeared @edwinksl
it looks to me the info has always been there, so luchonacho probably missed it. it is either improve edit or reject, both of which are fine depending on whether you want to edit it. approve is definitely wrong though.
it wasn't, I opened the post, that was not there, then the bar appeared "and edit has been made to this post" I clicked it and the info came up. If you edit very fast, it goes into one revision
I agree with you I should have kept the information there
So the 'Edit Tags Inline' option after 10k simply allows you to edit the tags without bumping to the front of the 'Active' queue and without bumping previous editors of a question?
@AnwarShah normal user (like that smokedetector) can only edit or delete the message within 2 minutes. If spam post is removed after 2 min, it won't auto remove it.
When you are reviewing posts, you are faced with three options: Skip, I'm done (after some change), Nothing to review.
Ideally, when you make a change like edit, flag, comment, or vote, the "I'm done" option becomes available, and you press it, eliminating the question from the review list. Howe...

AI.SE.com has no (elected) community moderator. ;)
All I need to do is learn about AI get a lot of reps and do a lot of good/helpful stuff for the communtiy nominate myself get elected and bam I'm a modearator! :)
@SmokeDetector I don't think mods need permission to suspend anyone if you are doing something that you should not be doing or is malicious in anyway the mods will block you don't matter what! :)

Well, I think I temporarily dislocated my arm (again) in sword fighting last night... That was painful, but I'm fine again now! :D
user136984
Well, actually it still doesn't feel that great, but I'm sure it will be fine, it's happened before with the other arm...
I am launching non interactive jobs using batch, and I would like to increase the load limiting factor in order to use all the 8 cores. I am on ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
From what I understand, batch uses atd to do the jobs. Jobs starts when the load factor goes under a threshold, called the load limiti...
@HenryWHHackv2.0 Actually I thought it was a useful edit and the only reasons I rejected it was because you obliterated the tags, and I was in a hurry to add a new tag to the question. I owe you 2 points. The next time I see a bad edit from you, I'm going to accept it and whatever is wrong I'll fix it myself so that you'll get your 2 points back.
should just use the review formula: first post : no action needed late answer: not an answer low quality: recommend deletion suggested edit: approve (unless tag wiki in which case skip) reopen votes: reopen close votes: skip
