I feel like the entire desktop environment is a race to see what the absolute bare minimum number of configurable options is.
 
@Serg so the setting you shared disables the ability to use the key as a hotkey
 
It won't be long and we won't even be able to adjust screen resolution.
I bet soon Gnome won't even let us customize our username. We'll all be "bob".
