@DavidOneill I constantly have more than one SSH connection to my server (one might be running something interactive and I'll want to run something else)
Sure, I'm not saying I couln't just have one mux'd connection, but in practice I find it easier to work with multiple windows/split windows like terminator... They seem more flexible locally, so I just fire off a billion SSH connections.
Very easy, using byobu, I just do Shift-Arrows to move around.
the nice thing about the byobu tmux configuration is that everything uses ctrl-F key or shift-F key, so it doesn't interfere with most other keyboard shortcuts that you might be using.
@GeorgeEdison I am convinced this will monumentally change everything about ubuntu server, but I can't blog it until it works, then it'll be obvious to people, heh
I use the Lenovo N500 notebook and I installed on it 64-bit Ubuntu 11.10. All components except the Ubuntu recognized the graphics and they appear bugs when playing Flash games. Do 64-bit Ubuntu 11.10 can recognize the Intel 4500M integrated graphics?
Back in version 1.1 of the API, we used to be able to do:

@rlemon That is how I got sucked into ruby - some wise dude told me that my idea would be really easy to do in rails... 2 years later and I have no clue what my idea was.
> *One of the main advantages of the asynchronous snippet is that you can position it at the top of the HTML document. This increases the likelihood that the tracking beacon will be sent before the user leaves the page. It is customary to place JavaScript code in the <head> section, and we recommend placing the snippet at the bottom of the <head> section for best performance.
really google?!?!?! you couldn't be more wrong on this point.

I have a python gtk app I need to run when a user logs in. I can't get upstart to launch any gui app, even if x is running.
When I'm signed into X, and I emit the event from the upstart script below
guitest
with initctl, I get
initctl: Event failed
Here is an example of my script, except ...
@GeorgeEdison possibly. I'm not sure it ever will though. Saying we don't support tabs in public would nuke flash...and adobe has a considerable amount of money to throw around.
plenty of apps say we don't support tabs as a FAQ why is this stuff crashing answer, but none of them want a 'tabbed support' at load answer
maybe i misunderstood you, but i thought you meant a tabbed browsing support flag in the plugin api
