I don't know why there is no option to display the folder size in the explorer (not the details hover thing). I heard it was due to performance issues but at least give us the option plus an SSD should be fine to handle that.
blockchains are a parasite on our computers' harddrives. the crypto guys need to figure out an alternative to having to download the whole chain. I know therer are "light wallets" but they have issues if you do "a lot" of transactions.
The reason for having a full copy of the blockchain is security and paranoia, you can't verify others are telling the truth if you don't have the original
As such, you need to either trust people or have the same data
Thin clients (which are a thing) trust more so they don't need the entire blockchain
I'm trying to figure out how I want the logic of grabbing multiple vertices to work. I guess what makes the most sense is having the player click on an edge and then find the vertices on that edge makes the most sense.
Especially given the sheer free amount of resources out there that are freely available. I guess it would be nice to have one class focused on that topic.
You can find a patchwork of other resources out there that will get you more in a lot of ways, but his classes tend to be very focused and at large scale.
Also, the Blender course he did is absolutely fantastic.
Part of the problem with long YouTube tutorial series is that people tend to not stick along once they get longer and thus the incentive for the makers to do them diminishes.
Yes, that is a problem, which is part of why doing the Kickstarter gives more incentive to do so.
There will essentially be a team of 4 long term professionals who will be dedicated to making the class awesome. Most Unity tutorials out there are taught by those who don't have a lot of experience, at least in my opinion.
Depends on where you look. There are some really experienced Unity devs. who make a few tutorials but usually it's on one topic and a one off thing because they have bigger fish to fry.
So I have a 2d game where a player walks around the level (top view) with a flashlight in front of him. Everything works fine in the editor, however whenever I build it for WebGL and test it in my browser, one room only one, has a problem with lighting, and as I walk in different parts of the roo...
well you can calculate how many dots of certain size can fill in to the screen and then for loop that many times and use the incremented value as multiplier to the position
like
for(int i = 0; i < 100; i++) drawpos.x = offset.x * i + originalpos.x;
hello could someone help me with an unity thing? :s
i have been following some unity tutorials and there is something that doesnt happen to them and happens to me although i have made same things they done
