@darthnesscoveredthesky You mean this answer? ....I didn't vote, because I'm not sure how that works....if I would figure out how it works, I might DV and leave a "dangerous" comment.
@Shokhet I've tried similar things and they've worked, but I don't condone dangerous things, I think better research is needed, though. Since we wouldn't want people to be killed, but it seems safe, I just idk.
@darthnesscoveredthesky I don't think so; I just took a look at your user profile -- all I saw is that you're "frequently" (?) in this room, and "currently" in here and in Bam.
....the question mark is not because I doubt that you're here often, it was because I don't know what defines "frequently" with regard to SE chat rooms
@darthnesscoveredthesky If you did them anonymously I don't think you can track them w/o registering. If you go to the page that you went to, and the edit hasn't been reviewed yet, you can click on the "your edit is only visible to you until it's been peer reviewed" to see if anybody reviewed it yet.
I think Phlume would also make a good moderator here....keep in mind that the votes on those answers don't make the final decision, but rather the SE CMs
@darthnesscoveredthesky I voted for some who bowed out, also
@J.Musser True; didn't think of that. We didn't take off.....
@darthnesscoveredthesky I dunno. I think that people getting upset over votes is a little silly, but that's just my opinion......why not just leave it?
@darthnesscoveredthesky When you get to the top of the privileges chart, you can do almost anything that a mod can, provided you have a friend or two helping you out.
I split my time between my 2 wikihow accounts and my other accounts :) I like to have only the accounts I use, the others I delete. But I can't now, Annoying :)
I'll give you a screenshot of my puzzling account:
Welcome to Lifehacks beta! You don't need a hack unless the standard methods are unavailable/unsatisfactory for some reason. In that case, please list the reasons in your question. Thanks! — J. Musser12 secs ago
I have been a member for just over 3 months, have 5440 on ES.SE, and yes, I have deleted my membership from a few sites, but not for a while - am settled now
@J.Musser I've been on MY for 8 months, and I have 6,306 at the moment.....given that the highest reputation is 10% of SO's highest rep, think of it like I have 60K :P
@Shokhet Doctor said the condition of my heart was excellent. Apparently it's large from exercise, like an athlete, and has a big capacity. Idk, but it sounded good to me.
I'm curious....did you understand my answer, or did you just vote based on large number of linked sources? ( I'll keep the votes one way or another....I'm just curious how clearly I wrote that answer; sometimes it's easy to forget to include enough English )
@J.Musser That's actually not such a certain thing -- a lot of the Hebrew I use in my answers is old (Biblical/Mishnaic/rabbinic/other) Hebrew; Google Translate doesn't always work on those.
....thought I try to define the terms I use, as much as I can
@J.Musser Cool! Though I'm willing to bet that it doesn't have the words "דרסה" and "חלדה" (words from my answer) in it; AFAIK those words first show up in the Mishna.
@J.Musser Same.
@J.Musser .....do you need a hack to keep them organized? :P
@J.Musser Close....it means "tunneling," loosely -- if the knife is covered by the skin (IOW, tunneling where it should be cutting), that disqualifies the shechita. My conjecture is that it's related somewhat to the word "חולדה," which means weasel or mole (an animal that tunnels).
@Shokhet I think hands was misused on that question because the lifehack doesn't deal with hands much. We use our hands for just about everything, the tag should only be used on questions that deal with cleaning them or something direct like that
@ZachSaucier Okay, that could make sense. Why not suggest an edit to the tag wiki clarifying that point? (something like "only to do directly with hands, themselves")
@apaul34208 I don't have the experience to tell you that, but I could certainly imagine that they would be. Would things that deal with hair work on congealed oil? Would the things that uncongeal oil remove hair?
@Shokhet The vacuum method that I posted will work for both. Not sure about the others though. The conventional methods of clearing would be the same for both. I'll leave it alone for now and see if the answers are significantly different.
@ZachSaucier I asked a few example questions for the proposal -- one of them about "different things you could do with a screwdriver" (deleted, I think) ....the argument against that question is that it's a solution looking for a problem.....I think that tag might have the same issue, wouldn't it?
I see you left a comment to that effect. In my experience that user will probably edit that information in, like she did here, when I left a comment to that effect.
@ZachSaucier I just voted. That is a critical piece of information that is missing; putting answerers in danger of writing a correct/high-quality answer to a different question.
