I need a way to reduce the memory usage of these programs while keeping the functionality. Every time I add 50 milliseconds or so to the set&display loop in AnimationTest1, it throws an out of memory error. Here is the code I have now:

@Almo whenever someone posts lots of codes, they usually don't know what and where is going wrong, so they can't really add any useful information other than the code itself.
if they only knew what was going wrong, they could paste only that specific portion of their code. and believe me bugs are usually caused by a single line of code.
the other 9 lines are merely explanation of what that single line should do
So I came across these questions (Java Animation Memory Overload + Animation Color) and I don't see how the close options cover too localized situations or code dumps.

In all seriousness... if you people have problems with eachother it would be great if we stopped flagging everything and work this out like adults. Start a room with another user by clicking their name. If you can't come to some sort of accord on how you should behave around eachother there is an ignore feature. If this is still a problem then I give you my blessing to waste mods time by needless flagging things.
If someone says something inappropriate that in general isn't suitable for audiences who would be coming in here (like my flagged comment yesterday) then go for it. But personal disputes we can handle without flags
