It is pretty awful, but fortunately our little site so far has managed to steer quite clear of all these weird SE issues.

@ankii With about 5 questions a day I think we can manage with out the feed taking over the room.

@ankii These are just annoying, because you have to click them away. They're also pretty useless, since you can't reply to them and miss them if you're 5 minutes later. They do nothing to encourage discussion about the questions.
