Sigh
I feel restless. My inbox is empty+dry. I want to ask another question . . . but I'm not sure which of my drafts are ready
And TBH I'm not good/don't like writing answers

Hey, to whom it may concern: What's the funniest post on Worldbuilding, in your opinion?
Answer or question, not comment

Did you need me for something @FoxElemental

hey there @Mithrandir24601

@Shalvenay Rytsas! How're things going?

alright here, thinking about taking the conlang-design plunge sometime in the not-so-distant future, might have to see if the folks in the conlang.SE chat have suggestions on a "conlang creation 101" starting point for an admitted newb at this (I've played with using conlangs, but only lightly -- never built one before)

Oooh, that would be an interesting one! I suspect that there's no one ideal way to go about it, but it would be interesting to learn about

yeah -- kinda thinking my swamp-lizardfolk need a native tongue to call their own :) (it's a concept that's been rattling around my head for a while now...)

hey there @Green

@Aify no. I just saw your icon in the "active" section of the users bar and wanted to say hi
@Shalvenay I'm on conlangSE, but I don't use it for anything other than reading. I'm trying to build a really complex language:57 characters/letters/symbols and 4 accent marks AND making it work without any type of normal punctuation. Maybe I'll go to ConLang for advice later. But reading through stuff is helpful.

They don't seem to have any Valyrian questions though :/

Q: What happens when an on-hold question is edited and nominated for reopening by the OP?

SealBoiMy question was put on hold as too broad, understandably. Now, I've edited it and am fully confident that it is no longer broad, and have nominated it for reopening. What happens now? Do all on hold questions go into a queue for reviewing, or just ones nominated to be reopened? Do I need multi...

Hi again

@HDE226868 I think he did it again. https://worldbuilding.stackexchange.com/users/51957/jasper-r
https://worldbuilding.stackexchange.com/users/52114/keith-henry
But this time since the new profile only has one question so far, i'm only bout 50% certain it's the same guy based on the question format, language & grammar used, and the similarity in short bio. The new account being created fresh, after the Jasper account was last seen online could be coincidence but I doubt it.
BTW, is there any chance that it could be revealed whether or not the two accounts were from the same person?

@FoxElemental otherwise, that looks like a good question. I'd say it's ready for main.
@Shalvenay hey!

@Aify I think mods can do something with ip addresses.

@Green thanks. That's 3 high-rep users confirming. I'll post it soon

hey there @Green

@Shalvenay anything new and exciting.
?

8:37 PM
@Green back home :) and hoping to poke the conlang folks soon

As it turns out, IP bans only work from developers, @Aify
And that completely blocks that user from ever again creating an account
so they're not used often
Though I believe accounts can be deleted, casual/slang term: "vaporized."

@FoxElemental Not sure what you mean by IP Bans only work from developers

hey there @Aify

SE employees
If I read that comment from Jeff Atwood correctly, that is

Things may have changed. JA is no longer an SO employee IIRC
and @Bellerophon you're right, there's precedent for IP banning people that avoid question bans

8:51 PM
I know. It was on an old meta post on a user who created something like 25 accounts

In any case, i'll just keep bringing it up to the mods every time I see it. I'm 75% sure it's the same guy now, based on his second question.

I think so too
And flagging is the best thing to do

Yea not sure what I'd flag for. I can't flag the user, and I can already CV the bad questions

Does anyone mind going over the answers on this question of mine and telling me whether you think any of these are, well, not actually answering the question? I feel like . . . it would be nice if I actually got a solution, not "it's impossible/you need this wingspan/weighs blah blah". Like, maybe put those as comments, people?!
Or not at all!?
