Also, the highest federal income tax bracket is currently 37%. What do you think of increasing that?

@TerranSwett I think raising the tax bracket beyond a certain point is counter productive. Say that you live in NYC, and happen to be in a higher tax bracket. Then the city says "hey, if we raise taxes, we'll have more money". So you look across the river, and see a land with lower taxes, and move out of the city. Now the city is bringing in even less revenue than before.
And that is actually happening a lot. New York, Chicago, and California are having an exodus, with lots of people fleeing the high taxes for states with lower taxes.
It's possible that you can actually make more money by lowering taxes, because then people have more money, invest, start businesses, hire more people, build and grow. Slightly smaller pieces of a lot more pies.
@TerranSwett I don't have the total numbers. I have seen reports that family reunification has been very high, even if there is some debate about exactly what that number is. I won't believe NYT or HuffPo's numbers, just like a lot of other people would be skeptical about Fox. And doubting the news gatekeepers is a good habit to have nowadays.

But you didn't answer my question; who do you think Trump hates? I can't answer the original question until I know what you mean.

@AndyD273 I guess I'm really not sure that Trump hates anyone. He certainly gives the impression of being filled with anger, though.
Regarding people leaving due to higher income taxes, it seems less likely on the federal level than on the city or state level. Lots of people are willing to leave Chicago to flee high taxes; fewer people are going to be willing to leave the United States to do that.
Some, certainly, but not quite as many.

I guess more specifically, Trump gives the impression of hating Mexican immigrants and Muslims.
