However, there are alternatives - one such (particularly useful when considering certain models of error correction or photonics) is 'measurement based' or 'cluster state',

where all the entanglement is done at the start, before the 'circuit'. Here the 'circuit' consists of single qudit/qubit operations combined with measurements. They're equivalent - just have different uses - MBQC is good because it means that each e.g. photon only has a couple of components to go though (after the state is generated), which is a major problem in photonic QC

@FoxElemental Have you considered writing all your future notes on somewhere like google docs? It's free and everything you write is automatically saved to the cloud.

I try word for some things

But a lot of things are really spur-of-the-moment I need to write this down digitally for copy+pasting so I can have it in an instant
